I have never been as frustrated with a provider office's service. My actual psychiatrist Dr. Karletia Lewis is fantastic, I thought she was really welcoming and engaging and made everything easy to understand. Zero issues with Dr. Lewis.

The issue comes with getting in contact with anyone at the office. Firstly, they tell you that you can email them at any time, but due to their encryption software you are unable to read ANY email from your provider or their office. Their response to this was "Yeah, it does that with some patients. " So I can see that my provider is responding to my email I send them, but since I can't log in to Paubox (the encryption software) the link just says it's expired every time I attempt to read it. I assume this has to do with some laws surrounding email communication, but the least it could do is work. So besides that, if you call they tell you to make an appointment online or email your provider. There is currently NO option to connect with a real person as far as I can tell. Since email isn't an option I opted to call in, and I have left 3 separate voicemails for billing (the only extension that has real people at the end of it) and all three have been ignored over the last 2 weeks.

I've never been so frustrated with a provider's office. There is no reason that there shouldn't be an option to connect to real person, especially considering the email encryption software has been broken since I resumed my care here over a month ago. It's a bummer too because I really liked Dr. Lewis, but with no way to get in contact with her, and zero response from the main office I have no way to advocate for my care or discuss dosage with my provider. Unfortunately, I've already began the journey of finding a new provider that has the infrastructure required to simply communicate with a provider.

I’ve been impressed with my treatment thus far. My practitioner also tailors my care toward my needs. Highly recommend for medication management.

Slow to respond at first, but then communication was great and they made it really easy to get set up with a therapist. I'm guessing its because of high demand, but overall I've received excellent service.

This place provides poor services, focusing on how to get the most money rather than focusing on providing quality care. They treat their clients and employees poorly (as seen in other reviews and in the ethical document). The owners have been in ethical trouble (which you can see below). Spare yourself and don’t go here.

This organization is really unreliable. My provider didn’t follow up when they said they would. They also charge a really high cancellation fee, even when I emailed them back immediately saying I would rather take the appointment then pay the fee due to being unemployed and struggling financially. They said they filled the appointment with someone else and still charged me the fee. Now I have to figure out how to come up with money I don’t have and try to find a way to get my prescription renewed- a lot of stress caused by a “mental wellness” provider

Great experience here. My psychiatrist and therapist seem to actually communicate. Welcoming place for BIPOC/LGBTQ.

Very bad experience just trying to get info. They are unclear. First there is no waitlist then, oh yes there is one for "just that" (what I was calling about). Then they aren't adding to the waitlist then they won't say when they will be able to help anyone again. I AM SO SICK OF TRYING TO GET HELP IN THIS CITY. Every reference they gave me did not test over 18. Where am I supposed to go? When I finally get to the end of my rope with all this, you all will be a part of why I will be gone. SCREW THIS PLANET!

This was my first time seeing a psychiatrist in Oregon and my experience truly superseded my expectations. Dr. Katherine Kilkenny is a phenomenal person. Attentive, professional, extremely educated, and refreshingly human. I spent a long time feeling poorly about myself due to mental health issues and the symptoms that come with them. I avoided reaching out for help due to previous experiences with terrible doctors but I’m so glad I pushed past that. Dr. Kilkenny reassured me that she’ll be there every step of the way until we figure out exactly what works for me and will help me manage my medications in a way that I’m not suffering from their side effects as I had last time I was on them. If the other mental health providers there are anything like she is then I assure you you’re in the best hands possible.

Not impressed with the psychiatry at Sandy location. Not once have they sent in the correct prescription. Very frustrating. If I wouldn't have already had medication left as I was getting a new script from this psychiatrist I would have been livid. It's not okay to start a person on a psychoactive medication and have a 4 week gap wait time to get the correct prescription sent in after starting them on a new med. The doctor also sent in a pre-authorization with no information which is pointless. It will never get approved if you don't fill it out. I spoke directly with my insurance and they said none of the symptoms I provided the doctor were listed. So this pre-auth was all for show. Submitted just to say they did, but didn't actually take the time to fill it out properly. Not okay. Get it together please.

Overall I had a very negative experience here. I came to one of these therapists for help managing severe anxiety/panic attacks that are triggered by flare ups of some chronic health issues that I'm struggling to get diagnosed, and I was advised by my therapist to avoid seeking medical care altogether to avoid triggering this anxiety. Over the course of a couple months, I was never given any tools to help manage my anxiety when it arises, despite explicitly asking for them at every session. When I finally expressed my overall dissatisfaction with my sessions to this therapist, he essentially told me that in doing so I was continuing my cycle of seeking medical help and leaving unsatisfied with the care I received (which is a frustration I'd expressed to him with regard to the medical system not having answers yet about my health condition). He made it clear that he did not feel I would get anywhere in therapy because of this, suggesting I would just hop from therapist to therapist indefinitely without getting the help I want, and then essentially challenged me to fire him under pretense of "empowering me" to make executive decisions about my health.

It all felt like a weird manipulative guilt trip to keep me working with him ("if you fire me you'll never get better - go on, do it"). Now I'm pretty new to therapy, but I'm pretty sure therapists should not use the very problems you came to them with against you.

I am not interested in filing a formal complaint or whatever (which I'm seeing as a common response here on others' reviews), just sharing my experience with other prospective clients.
