Portland Torque Products Inc reviews
4RUNNNNNN FAAAARRR AWAY. POOR QUALITY, SEEMINGLY GREAT WARRANTY THAT THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND, REQUIRED AN ATTORNEY TO GET RELIEF, AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I have lost count of the transmission failures and the total disregard for customers concerns and the after doing business for 10 years disappointment somehow doesn't Express how our company feels about Dave Neville the owner and now he is moving to Idaho good riddance
I STRONGLY SUGGEST NOT DOING BUSINESS WITH DAVE!
We ordered a transmission for a customers accord. It lasted 1,000 miles. Ya that's right 1K. They brought us another transmission which lasted another 45 days. This time it left parts on the ground. Dave did bring us a third transmission. This one worked as expected but we have never been paid for any of the labor it took to install them. They talk about a warranty and how it pays 50.00 per hr which would at least cover my techs labor but we have never seen a dime. Dave will not return phone calls or emails. I wish I had looked at reviews before doing business with these people. I have filed a claim in court and hope nobody else falls in their trap.
Excellent customer service, I give them 5 stars for their timely service and friendly and knowledgable staff. I ordered a reman for 03 4x4 tacoma automatic, turned out it was a split year for that AT, first one they sent me was the older style, A TRUELY HONEST MISTAKE! Called them up and they had me send it back with my core all shipping paid for on their end, which I thought was very fair of them. Given this all happened during Christmas/new year, it only took a little over a week to get the correct transmission back. I am impressed and totally would use/recommend them!
