This management company shows special preference to other tenants that they do not show to others which is why I moved. If you choose to stay here you'd better love barking dogs because they side with the owners and leave working people like myself to endure the noise. Poor company. Biased people. Wish I could give 0 stars.

Hi

Princeton Property Management,

Can you please respond to my email? I sent you guys a long email explaining my situation. You’ve changed management 3x since I’ve lived at Moreland place. I don’t mind the changes, however there has been some inconsistencies with my rent and utilities payments. The new management called me screaming about past charges. I tried to explain but she told me to write an email. I did write an email with pictures and now I’m not getting a response. The new manager emailed today to ask me to take down my clothes drying on the balcony and I immediately did, yet she has yet to respond to my email? I also left a voicemail for the account manager. Can you please respond to my email? I’m extremely worried.

If you think living in a Princeton property is bad, try working for them. Heartless, defending abusive behaviors of upper management, gaslighting, zero humanity.
For context, I was only employed for about 7 months (March-September), in that time I worked with one of the worst human beings I've ever met. She gave no time for growth or teaching for the job I was in (claiming after your 2 week training you should have all the understanding you need). Constantly blamed me for things that went wrong, and was the opposite of a good leader. Even the higher management of that company understand how awful it is to work with that individual as I was warned multiple times (in my interview alone). Her turnover rate (due to her intolerable treatment of other employees) is so high I don't understand, how someone like that works in customer service, or can even keep a job. There were days so bad even the residents themselves asked me "Is that how she treats people? " "is she always that horrible? " Every time I was asked just nodded my head, because how would I know? I was never shown any different. It was so bad, I requested to transfer, and never looked back.

After transferring to another property, things got better. But the management of this new location was so busy assisting others in the portfolio (Including the first location listed above) that there was zero time to truly learn everything I needed in the time I had. In September, due to an acquisition of management by another company I was suddenly fired, without warning, or genuine reason. "I cant even say it was about your performance because it wasn't. " Said my boss at the time.

I am not alone in my feelings, and there are many who already realized their worth, and left to better opportunities. There are some genuinely wonderful and kind people who remain at that company, I hope they don't receive the behavior that I and so many others were shown. If they do I hope they come to their senses and leave.

If you're looking for work, trust me, you'd sooner want to be homeless and unemployed, then spend even a second employed by princeton property management.

Property managers if Karen's corner in forest grove Oregon. Multiple attempts were made to report the manager for discrimination and harassment on my disabled mother who escaped domestic violence and no real attempts were made to reprimand to manager or listen to the multiple complaints about the manager from other tenants and visitors.

Boli complaint has been filed and picked up.

**PLEASE READ**

Be aware prospective renters. Property Management companies tend to experience constant change as this is the norm within the industry. So it's always hard retaining staff as people are constantly moving around to other companies however there are a list of property management companies you're better off staying away from and Princeton is one of these.

Princeton is similar to Spirit Airlines. They've got the worst customer service of any of the property management companies in the area except their properties aren't affordable. Pricey rents and you won't even receive half decent customer service.

Furthermore, don't bother to file a complaint as the way they are structured, you will always be directed to the portfolio manager for your specific property. Despite certain matters being beyond the portfolio mangers pay grade or requiring upper level management attention well they will still direct you to your portfolio manager and make you run circles.

Please be very cautious before signing a lease with any of their properties. I will be uploading a YouTube video very soon highlighting some of the better property management companies as well as certain ones you ought to stay away from. To be continued.

Had a drop off at Maple Terrace Apartments in Hillsboro yesterday. Was impressed that there was a crew out preparing sidewalks and roads for the incoming storm. Each door to an apartment had a post on how to mitigate frozen pipes, etc.

The move out process at Lynnwood apartments was handled extremely unprofessional and they are now trying to send me to collections. I was unable to contact the property manager Martin who seemed to ignore my calls and when I tried to contact Princeton Property directly they told me I need to contact my property manager who would not take my calls or return messages. They are trying to send me to collections based on remaining rent Ive repeatedly tried to pay and their system won’t accept it and winds up back in my account. My bank has notified me more than once its on Princeton property because I have more than enough funds for the check to clear and the money does leave my account but comes back a few days later. This is something they them selves failed to follow up on and figure out so they could get there payment but nobody from the company would follow up. I have countless texts and messages with no response from the property manager Martin trying to figure this out and I couldn’t even get him to meet me for a proper final walk through and I had to film everything I cleaned and fixed myself because they are also tagging on a insane bonus fee for a unit that was well taken care of upon move out. I have the video and proof I left the unit in good condition.

I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews here, Princeton property management recently bought the small apartment complex Monroe manor I have been living in for about 2 years now, when I first moved in everything was falling apart and broke since they took over they have fixed all the issues in my apartment and really fast at that, I needed a dishwasher replaced and washer and dryer replaced and they did it fairly quickly, Greg has also been extremely helpful and listens and is actually a very understanding guy, who actually seems to care about his tenants and not just the money. If I can I’ll be keeping Princeton property management as my landlords.

Awful previous management and maintenance in the Irvington apartments. Maybe with the new manager the situation will change.

The only place I have ever rented from and did not receive my full deposit back. I can’t tell you how much better I left my apartment than when I got it, but they took half my deposit anyway. After going back and forth for a while I finally spoke with the portfolio manager, who in my personal opinion was awful. There was gaslighting, outright dishonesty, and a financial statement that made no mathematical sense. As soon as I spoke with them on the phone I could tell how shady this management company is. I would never rent from them again. It’s too risky. I would avoid at all costs. I’m sure they’ll write a completely disingenuous comment on my review, but it’s all optics to make it seem like they do the right thing but they don’t… They don’t care if they rip you off and steal your money.

At first a good place to work out in the very end horrible place to work for after getting injured on the job and denied my claim they fired me because they felt like I was lying which I wasn't and my knee is still in very much pain treated very unfairly after I brought it to their attention how one of the managers was verbally treating me with most disrespect at Baseline storage unit being so honest with the people I work with and who I work with always showing the most respect and devotion and working hard for a company just for them to fire you in the end horrible experience and not very nice

If I could give this company negative stars I would do just that! They lie make fraudulent claims and manipulate people. This company does not up keep their apartments and will charge you for damage that was already there upon move in! Stay away from this management at all cost they take zero accountability! Poor management and a even worse property management company!

Avoid renting through them. Poor communication and they will try to dishonestly overbill security deposit.

Not the best company to rent from. Office staff is constantly changing and especially since COVID started very hard to get in touch with. It is supposed to be a non-smoking property, but thus is not true and even when they are made aware of this violation, nothing is done. The best thing I can say is the maintenance guy at our property is great!

I have been living at Hampton Ridge managed by Princeton for about 4 years and it has only gotten worse. Rent also increased about $500/month since I moved in 4 years ago, despite the maintenance issues with old kitchen appliances, circuit breaker issues and leaky, moldy windows. Maintenance is lazy and doesn’t fix anything properly. Took several requests to get the drier replaced, which took several cycles to dry laundry, until it left burn marks on clothes.

High turnover with property management and the current one (Sherrie) is extremely rude. She also likes to pick favorites with tenants, instead of treating everyone equally. She only listens to one side of the story when it comes to roommate issues and will assist one, but ignore the other. It doesn’t matter if I’m the primary tenant who has been here longer and all the bills are in my name. I was told that I had to pay for everything, even if my last nightmarish roommate refused to pay her share of the bills. Then I received no assistance from the manager when the roommate threw my bills in the trash and refused to pay her share. She intentionally ran up the utility bills she refused pay, by doing several loads of laundry everyday and leaving all the lights on every night, which I had to come home and deal with after work late each night, while she slept somewhere else. She turned off my power, denied access to the circuit breaker in her room, and was stealing/damaging my food and property while I was at work each night. I came home from work late each night to find several of my food items missing and thrown in the trash, also trash thrown on my recliner. All because of a disagreement we had over her cat!

Despite all this, management ignored me and refused to evict her, treated her favorably and instead threatened to evict me when I finally changed the lock to protect myself because nobody would help me. She had moved out all her stuff without notice and was still coming in to destroy my food and stuff while I was at work, as long as she was still on the lease, but not living here anymore. What was I supposed to do, just let her continue?

Maintenance requests are ignored, marked as “in progress” for several days and then marked as “resolved” when they were not. I feel constantly ignored. Nothing is ever fixed properly or replaced, until it completely breaks. Even then, I have to jump through several hoops to get any help. Online maintenance requests are ignored and calling the management office rarely works because they are rude on the phone and don’t want to do anything. So then I have to finally drop in at the office in person to get any help, just to be told to submit the online maintenance request that was ignored in the first place!

The mold issue around the windows has been getting worse, which is a health hazard for someone with asthma/allergies. I submitted photos of the moldy windows and have been ignored. I am not given any straight answers as to when this will get fixed, if ever.

If I could afford to move and find a better place that is affordable, I would have a long time ago. Still stuck here for now.
