I visited Promethean Hair Lounge for the first time back in August. I originally scheduled a solo curly cut with Ani, and to my surprise, owner Rachel Jenkins offered her guidance and expertise throughout the process as well. I absolutely loved the way that my hair turned out! I learned more about my hair from these two women in one sitting, than I have over the course of my entire life. I have no doubt in my mind that Ani, Rachel, and Promethean Hair Lounge as a whole will continue to succeed, mentor, and inspire. I look forward to visiting them again soon!

Rachel is a genius with both color and a pair of scissors. Her color is rich and she processes me long enough to really absorb into my stubborn grays. I love her cuts every time and I’ve been seeing her now for several years and have never been tempted to go elsewhere. Her new salon is gorgeous!

First of all, this salon is gorgeous! When you walk through the door you enter a beautiful space with hanging plants and fun lights and stylish hair stations. It’s peaceful and lovely. And my stylist, Rachel, who is also the co -owner, is the best hair stylist and colorist in the region. She is so talented! I’ve told all my friends about her and now they all go to her. She has been doing my cut and color for almost 15 years and I’ve followed her from salon to salon around Portland. So happy she has a salon of her own now!

Rachel changed my hair life. I had been getting perms for years. I went with my daughter who had been going to Rachel for years and told me how amazing she is.
