QFC, Portland OR

I have been shopping at this store since it opened and unfortunately have seen the quality drop over the last few years, produce is still very good quality but many items are difficult to locate and no longer exist, and the store is not as clean as it once was and many employees are clueless. The current management needs to step up and make some changes. Hopefully this message will get someone’s attention.

Great store with some of the harder to find products easily available. The meat counter is outstanding. It's not so huge you get lost in it. And you can use any Kroger rewards card there.

The worst grocery store for produce. Very low quality and very often I found spoiled prepackaged fruits and vegetables being sold. Very concerning. I haven’t encountered this in any other grocery store.

This place has mastered the art of spacing out products so you have to walk the entire length of the store three times for items in the same product category. For instance, dairy products are separated into three areas and are on completely opposite sides of the store. After you finish your marathon walk, they screw you over by having you wait a further 30 minutes to checkout because only one register is open and there’s 20 people deep waiting for self checkout.

Required me to physically hand over my driver's license and scan it for alcohol purchase. Would not say what they intend to do with that information, or how they would protect it. I already provide my personal phone number for rewards. Too invasive, will shop elsewhere.

I’d like to just give a shout-out to Honey at QFC, she is so friendly, clearly works hard and is knowledgeable about the store. She is my fave employee at QFC and I’ve heard quite a few people say the same!

It's not the cleanest grocery store I've ever been inside, and it doesn't smell too good, but it's definitely more pleasant of an environment than I can usually find in Portland. However, I really like this supermarket because of the great deals it offers. It's one of the only places I can find really tasty dried okra.

I go here to buy some beer and the self checkout attendant tried to not sell me it because he LITERALLY could not read an Oregon drivers license. This buffoon said he couldn't serve me because in the top corner of the ID it says "Not for REALID Act" not even knowing what that means. Maybe they should hire people with a highschool diploma at least.

Best store for quick trips! In and out in just a few minutes. Don’t even need to interact with anyone. It’s great!

Overpriced and understaffed with faulty machines and unprofessional staff. Parking lot is a mess and shopping carts are always getting jammed or are falling apart. You also need to bag your own groceries a lot of the time. WinCo has the same style but is much cheaper and basically sells the same products. Everybody also rushes the front of the store at the same time making it hard to navigate and creates long wait times. Don't know why anybody would shop here lol. Also no cashiers at night past 8: 30 so if you need to do late shopping good luck

They allowed the man working in the liquor store in this building to continue operating even though he is a terrible.

Average supermarket, deli is nice but the burrito was terrible, it was 50% off at 2.50. Tasted terrible, waste of money. Got sick after eating, pretty disappointed for “Quality Food. ”

Good produce, meats, fish, decent beer and wine selection. Bakery and deli are ok. This store is open 24/7, sometimes the need arises.

So, we went into QFC in Bethany tonight around 7pm. It's a Saturday night. The moment we stepped in there I was reminded immediately why we don't shop here anymore. It is only. 5 miles from our house, but for the past few years we've chosen to drive about 3 miles away to Market of Choice. What a drastic difference in customer service! When we walked into QFC at 7pm, there were NO checkers, and a long line for self-checking. Went to the produce section where some employees were stocking things, NO ONE greets you, or even look at you. I was the one that said hello. Went back to the meat area. EVERYTHING was already put away and they were hosing down the floor. Again, no one looks at you, no one says hello, no one cares you're shopping there. Then we go to check out. There is ONE checker who is helping someone, then she turns her light off and says "she'll be right back". She never comes back. The self-checkout line has about 10 people in it. The line behind us now has about 8 people in it. We were all just standing there watching some employees behind the customer service counter just standing there. I finally asked one of them if they can check us out. A young guy dressed in regular clothes saunters over slowly, says nothing, scans our food and we leave. For the last 8 years or so that store has nad a very negative energy and is an unfriendly, and unprofessional environment. One checker, closed meat department at 7pm on a Saturday night. Market of Choice is always bustling at that time, and the employees ALWAYS make you feel welcome and at least do a great job acting like they care that you are shopping there.

The service was extremely poor. I am not one to write reviews, but I hope the owners/managers will take a note of this one. For the last few years our family has purchased the majority of our groceries from you. If things continue as they did today I will for sure find another store. When I was there today ALL of the cash registers were closed and one employee was funneling everyone to the self check out stations where two of the machines were out of service. If I only had a few things I would not mind, but I had a shopping cart full of groceries. The machine kept malfunctions because It took too long to bag groceries while at the same time scan items. The lady who was there to fix the issue was cold and seemed frustrated that she had to help move things along. Part of going to a small neighborhood grocery store is the service you get. As for the service I received today it was a poor as it comes.

I have been here 3 times ordered online pickup, those time i have waited more than 15 minutes! I called at 4: 28 to tell them i was there for my stuff and they didn't come out til 4: 57! So ridiculous! Then they only have limited pickup parking and people that shop inside love to take those parking spots

They are violating state and county law. They are not requiring masks nor are checking vaccination status. I was told (6/11/2021 around 5: 30m pm when I called) they will not be enforcing mask rules and complying with the state and county rules and customers can do what they want even though they have a sign out.

QFC charges way more money than fred meyer for the exact same products. What do you get for that increased price? The store has yet to return to 24 hours (Winco has) and their sign's Q is burnt out. Maybe I'm missing their secret to higher prices but I don't know why anyone would choose to shop here over fred meyer.

The staff here is friendly and always helpful. Easy returns. Easy to find what I need. On a few occasions I've walked to pick up my groceries and each time the workers help double bag or re-pack to make it easier for me to carry my groceries back home. On the otherhand, the Starbucks baristas here are clinically depressed and can't make a decent latte for the life of them. Maybe that's why they're depressed.

Love working at the qfc stores very friendly staff and the store is much smaller and more intimate.
