This is a wonderful little park that captures (or saves) a bit of wild in Eugene. Natural grasslands in which a small group of volunteers are working to restore habitat and native vegetation and expunge blackberries and other interlopers. No playgrounds, no tennis courts, no Frisbee golf, no parking lots. Could use a drinking fountain along the bike trail beside the river.

Quiet. Not too dirty. Only one person camped here when I went. Nice little oasis from busy River Road.
