Ray's Auto Wash reviews
18The best car wash on 82nd might be the last bastion of self-service stations. Featuring 5 wash bays and 5 vacuums it's a quick and easy DIY that will make your car look great. Plus this place has been around for 50 years! Don't be lazy and go to the big chains. Ray's rocks.
Awesome place! Owner loves his classic cars an even gave me a wash on the house when I brought my 70 roadrunner in. I took my new infinity today for a shine an will continue to support the local owner over the corporate wash being built across the street.
This place has been there for years. It is always clean the owner is usually cleaning the property and making sure things work properly.
All the machines worked great. Super water pressure and soap got 2,500 miles of dirt and grime off my Malibu. Definitely a quality car wash. No questions.an easy 5 stars.
The options take over a minute to switch from soap wash, rinse, wax etc.wasting your money. The tip can easily scratch your car if not careful. Not up kept very well at all. Will not be coming back
My home away from home LOL the man that works there I'd like to say his name is Ray but it's probably not he's the nicest most genuine man and he always greets you with a smile and makes you feel very comfortable to be there
Great place to bring vehicles that have modifications that might get hung up in traditional car washes.
I had to wait for awhile, because this one person kept washing the wheels of his car a couple of times then rinse the car again & again, so I went to the end of the outside wash & just rinse off my car, its a good place to wash & rinse your car & vacuum it out,
This car wash is the best self serve in town! Ray is a super nice guy. (I almost regret writing this review because I don't want everyone to know if this awesome spot!)
Rays auto wash Rocks! The vaccaums always suck in a good way, it's got the little hose nozzle for those tight spots you can never get to, and I've only had a problem with a machine 1 time about a year ago. The air freshener I bought for 1.25 didn't drop. I love Rays Auto Wash!
Very impressed. Will be back. Way more convenient than doing it at home and you can do as good if a job as you’re willing to do.
I had a great time at Ray's Auto Wash. All brushes worked phenomenally and I had no scratches on my car! I had a great time here and I will be coming back every week. I will be there soon (not next Tuesday though!) : 3
The vacuums and the car wash kept taking my money and there's no phone number to contact anybody
Best car was around. Because they always have tire cleaner and the soap is a constant blast not just a little at the beginning. And the water is hot coming out.
Wish the vacuums weren't coin-operated only but the wash is excellent, takes cards, and is multi-functional
UPDATE: Thanks to a quick response, I will be back soon! It was busy and perhaps the card operated vacuums were taken. Thanks!
I actually liked this car wash. It was very clean. Definitely a lot cleaner than I would have thought it would've been, considering the location and seeing all of the tents along the side streets and all of the trash on the streets and in parking lots in that area. It was very convenient that the vacuuming units there, accepted either quarters or debit/credit cards. I don't think that I have seen any of the other car washes in that general area having that option to pay with a card. I'll definitely put this place in my memory bank of good place to go to vacuum out my vehicle.
If you work fast enough you can wash a car with little money spent. I have a big old SUV but I still think this is worth more than an automatic wash. The facility is always clean, and the music is good. Been going here for 10 years.
Everything worked, coins/cash or card was the same for each stall. Time was fine for the price. You can bucket wash too, just don't hold up the line up behind you. Bad form, friend. Vacuums are great with coin or card. They even have two hoses for each vacuum hooked ups and super easy to switch between. One with big nozzle and hose, the other with upholstery nozzle and small hose. Lot is kinda small, caution super long rigs, but stall height is great and one uncovered stall for whatever. Clean your car or whatever! But do it here. Seriously.
