Rays Food Place, Port Orford OR

Well to start Ray's Food Place is pretty much all you have to work with once you leave Coos Bay. If you are as far as Port Orford drive back to Coos Bay and get your groceries from Fred Meyer or Safeway, so when you know the item is $0.59 you don't pay $4.99 for it at Ray's Market. That's pretty much all I'm going to say about Ray's.

Staff was nice. Didnt quite have everything I was looking for. There weren't any ripe avocados. Otherwise I was happy with my visit

Good store, it’s the only real grocery store in town besides Dollar General, and circle K is more of a convenience store. It’s pretty pricey to say the least, but they have a lot of the stuff you’d find in a big town grocery store so I can’t complain.

To High priced for everything. Paying for paper bags that the handles fall off. Bags tear. Yet all verges our wrapped in plastic. Well never come back and tell every one we know not to go to your store!

This is a nice small local grocery store. They have everything you could need. This is on the coastline so prices will reflect that. All in all just a great store.

TOTALLY OVERPRICED. IF TRAVELING PURCHASE FOOD ELSEWHERE. Over priced, understaffed. This store has been on a steady decline in service to its community for years. Bypass if possible. We shop here only because it's our only market. 27mi to better prices.

High prices, limited selection. The employee turnover and 'churning' makes me question the company's values.

Produce and bread often rotten. Have went to grab fruit and my fingers have gone through it several times. Moldy bread on shelf. Check experiation dates on any items bought. Deli is not sanitary. Overpriced. Glad to have moved away from area to a place that has better grocery stores.

Great market for a small town - Should be expected that prices will be higher when they're the only show in town - We've vacationed near here several times in the past few years and Ray's has always come through whether be for firewood that we forgot or Easter eggs and candy

Selection is limited and the prices are high. With that being said, the employees are GREAT people and make up for a lot that the store lacks!

Well stocked grocery store with fresh produce. Nearest grocery store if you are camping at Camp Blanco state park.

Great little hometown grocery store. Good selection available. New and improved deli with Chinese food is a wonderful addition.

Only grocery store in Port Orford. Rays is always over priced no matter where you are. However if you need anything, it's nice that they are there.

Options and inventory can be limited, but the staff is friendly and it's the only real grocery option in a 30 mile radius. Don't go here expecting to find a bargain or anything other than your standard grocery fair and you shouldn't leave too disappointed.

Cozy, homey little store with a little bit everything to fulfill almost every need and or desire

The only grocery store in town, besides the new DG. Prices are high but as expected when you're an hour away from anything big. Always clean and friendly staff.

Great local chain Unsurpassed variety. A little higher, as independents go, but again. They have everything. Nice local folks working there that can tell you where else to go for all other needs. Beautiful and clean store.

You must get the cheesy scalloped potatoes and directions! Both were awesome! These were some really friendly people and trucks can park on the street. So if you're stuck on the 101.break here.

Needs more choices but good friendly service. One complaint is make sure you check the expiration date on everything before buying as 3 different times I purchased expired items. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Very sad that you honor all of the years that your Managers have put into managing your various stores, by cutting their wages so that they quit. To be replaced by less experienced managers that will work at a lesser wage. Stores that do this do not deserve the loyalty of customers, you deserve the same threatment that you have given your managers. C&K Market sucks. I will never shop at any of your stores again.
