15 I went there to grab a quick dinner for the Wife and I and the only food cart open was Waahoo Charlie's. I would of given 5 stars if I were alone because the fish&chips were delicious and the portions were more generous than any other establishment I've eaten at in Astoria. My Wife is not a fan of seafood thus I hold back a star on her behalf.
If it is fresh, flaky, delicious rock fish that you crave beit fish and chips, fish tacos, or any of the other ways they dish it up,
It can't be beat!
Good vibes here, with a good selection of beer and good choices from the on-site food trucks (fish, Thai, and tots, not all open every day).
Good beer, we ate at different food trucks and both enjoyed our lunch. Tots nachos and fish and chips.
A rude woman told me to put my mask on when I briefly removed it when getting fish and chips to go to my table. No one was near me and I’m outside. This is my second bad experience with this same woman with glasses and I wasn’t even getting anything to drink just fish and chips. She also told another man of color to pull his mask up that was on. Not sure why she told two people of color to put their masks on. Felt a bit targeted and was just trying to eat lunch. Four Caucasian people walked in after me and were not targeted to put their masks on.
Great cider and I love some of the beers too.
We've been very happy with the Thai food cart.but that's material for a different review:)
Bought beer, bought food at all the carts, then went and got a little food next door only to be told by the "bouncer" no outside food. He lied and said there was a sign up front, there wasn't. Then proceeded to say "well that's why I'm here. " To be a jerk apparently. Never again
All of Astoria was cute and fun it was really nice to come across this brewery on the way outta town Friendly staff, good beer, and 3 food trucks whoop whoop
Excellent beer and the best covered area in Astoria right now!
The IPA was excellent, Gingerbread bock and pilsner both great! Really nice people here, and great food trucks lining the lot.
Great outdoor space, delicious beer, the food carts are an excellent addition. The gal behind the bar today was absolutely killing it and working her butt off.
Solid beers in a very cool setting, with lots of outdoor seating and three tasty food trucks right there (I got fish tacos made with local rockfish). The beer wasn't as exciting as Fort George up the street, but all eight of ours were distinct, from the IPA to ESB to Stout to Pilsner. I'll be coming back.
Beer was good. There was no indoor seeting during the cold windy weather and no heaters outside. We left to go to another brewery that had a warm place to sit out of the wind. Biggest complaint is that their was no signage regarding being required to wear a mask outside. As we approached an employee to order he did not ask but instead told us to put on our masks. Again, we were outside the entire time, their is no state mandate nor signage at the brewery. Very off-putting. I don't plan on returning.
Fantastic Ambience! Great Views, Awesome Beer. Even Better Service! Mak was prompt, courteous and efficient. These folks took sanitizing and disinfecting to a fast efficient new level that I have not seen. Kudos to adapting to the New Normal!
Got some Crowlers to go due to limited seating (good COVID safety!), and incredibly tasty. Food trucks right there too. Can’t wait to go back when the world is a bit more normal and can enjoy a nice busy courtyard of beer and food.
Very nice beer and a great patio! The staff are friendly and helpful. Food trucks are on point with vegan/veg options. Highly Recommended
Walked up during a sunny summer Saturday with a friend and 2 pups and was informed of a short wait. They took down my phone number (love that!) and they called 10 minutes later saying they were ready for us. Felt that it was really clean and table were well spaced for COVID. Great variety of beers with Cider, wine and kombucha on the menu as well, 2 of the 3 food trucks were open. Tried the Bloom wild ale and the Alevin session IPA both were fantastic!
