Redmond Nails & Spa reviews
16The door states "Walk-ins Welcome". Not so much. I was greeted twice, the 2nd time time was asked how they could help me. I said I was hoping to get a pedicure. Their response "you don't have appointment? " I replied no (because the sign on the door implies I didn't need one.) Was then told "can't do it, we're too busy, goodbye. " I understand it's courtesy to make an appointment & can even appreciate being too busy at the moment. Just don't like it being advertised that's it's okay, then receiving attitude & being shooed out the door.
So disappointed! For two years I have had beautiful nails when I leave. Now, speed is the main concern. When I left the last time, I immediately made an appointment elsewhere to have my nails redone. I'm going to a reunion and want to look my best, of course. I won't be going back, which saddens me.
I love this nail shop. I have posted 5 stars before and im still doing it. I went to MK NAILS for emergency nail fix for memorial day since Redmond was closed and NEVER AGAIN. Redmond nail you are the only nail place I will go too from now on!
On entering the spa, I almost turned around and left. It was obviously dirty. Their disinfectant policies were obviously not up to standard. No one looked you in the eyes, not even the owner, who was the translator. His command of English was very poor, which translates into poor customer service. They seemed to get you in and out as fast as possible. The quality of the pedicure was below standard.
As this spa is very close to my home, and a good price, I was dissatisfied and disappointed. I will never go back again.
Nice place, nice people. My pedi could've been better.
Update 12/31/22
Have frequented this salon these holidays to treat myself but this last time was a complete miss. Have done a full set, fill, and color change for $30 and the last gentleman that did my nails was rude and left my nails a mess. Nearly all of the are bumpy, not properly cured or topped and the worst is the bubbles underneath. It’s a hit or miss coming here.
One of my favorite nail places to go. I just wish they would slow down a little so I can actually enjoy my pedicure a little more. They do seem to care more about quantity than quality sometimes, but still a lovely place to get your nails done.
It was alright. I’d say “Meh” at best. Due to scheduling errors and overbooking they tried to make me have a regular pedicure, to which I almost had to demand I get the deluxe I booked for. I’m not keen on arguing about stuff, but I really needed the callous removing portion of the deluxe pedi thanks to being barefoot most of the summer. It was pretty rushed through I’d say and the callouses are still there so I’m not sure what I paid for to be honest. Color selection is slim for regular colors but have boards of all kinds for gel. The workers don’t really talk to you while they work on you which some people prefer. Watch what they charge you at the end. I think it might not be correct for what I had done and they were weirdly pushy on tipping the guy who helped me, even when I had cash in my hand.
Rip off, my feet were hardly cared for, polish looks nice thats about it. $40 for a rushed message and no exfoliation. Won't be coming back.
No Frills, No Thrills. The manicure is "ok", but the experience is lacking. Poor ventalation leaving a strong chemical smell throughout the facility. Not the cleanest facility.
If you're looking for a quick-fix, it'll do in a pinch. I was in/out in 45mins. Would have been even less time, but my manicurist stopped to answer phones or help other customers multiple times.
For those of you that like to enjoy the mani/pedi *experience* - Don't Bother! No music, TV broken, 60 second hand massage, no drink offered.
They are always quick and friendly. My nails look great and always stay on. Very busy place, call ahead and make an appointment.
Will never go again, had two toe nails go green from some kind of filth never gave a 5 star they must have added that.
They overbooked appointments so you end up waiting 30min even with an appointment. Then they do a super rushed sloppy job. Had to fix multiple nails and I left with paint on my skin.
They were able to fit me in as a walk-in for a pedicure when everyone else couldn't. This area seems busy with regular nail customers. Appts recommended. My service was fast.
Two things I noticed: I got a regular pedicure, but was charged the deluxe price (unless prices changed and the board wasn't updated). Also, there is a $3 charge for a nail kit that you bring back. That's new for me. I'm passing through so I don't need a kit to bring back for future services.
All in all, everything was fine and I was ok to pay extra given I was walking in and really wanted the service.
My daughter and I went in days before mothers day. We loved it! My daughter is 9, they treated her with care and made her first time getting mani and pedi an awesome experience. I got the gels and it was perfect. The massage was fantástic.thank you Redmond Nails and Spa. Will definitely be going back.
The pedicure lasted less that 20min…. It was fine. Won’t be back. Nothing bad, just expensive for what it is.
Been going there about a year now for pedicures. Always friendly and great massage chairs also. Appointment times are accurate, no waiting.
