More challenging trail than expected but I'm not very good at balance. But still very beautiful, fragrant, and didn't fall even though it was raining. Great!

Interesting trail with lots of ups and downs. Number markers seem to reflect redwoods of interest. Start to the left to start with number 1

Nice trail - fairly short (good for kids) A great option to see the redwoods in Oregon. The river is absolutely gorgeous.
There is a bathroom at trail head, but I would not recommend.

Beautiful hike. Bring good shoes as it can get slippery/muddy. There is a pit toilet. This is a loop trail that has a little pamphlet to follow along with.

This is an underrated Trail! Gorgeous, easy loop. Plenty of parking for any size rig either at the trail head or across the street. I highly recommend doing this trail, very dog, friendly, very people, friendly, and you get to see some beautiful redwoods, and also some beautiful waterfalls.

Georogeus 1 hour hike. Intermediate, as it can be steep in some areas. My 75 year old mom hopes we do it again on her 85th birthday. Beautiful redwood tree canopy near the river.

The bathroom at the trailhead was clean and well stocked. The loop trail was beautiful, steep in some places but there were lots of beautiful things to stop and look at while we rested. Some great wooden bridges over waterways worth the hike.

We did the trail clockwise and I’m glad we did! At a fairly leisurely pace it took us about an hour. Amazing redwoods! Fairly strenuous in places on the uphill sections.

A beautiful trail in the middle of the forest, about one from Gold Beach, where we were stopping.
There is a bathroom at the entrance to the path and a billboard.
1.1 mile loop. It is of low difficulty and can be done with children

The hike immediately rewards you with a fairy-like waterfall and bridges and shortly after some large trees. It seems like the best of the hike is right at the beginning though. There was never anyone else here when I came. There is also a picnic table right before the waterfall!

Great loop trail with amazing scenery and coastal redwoods. My 87 year old mom was able to walk the loop in about 1.5 hours.

My 8yo and I enjoyed hiking this trail very much. Seeing the trees that were 3-5 ft thick was just amazing. The streams were just extra. Took a little time getting here from Brookings but totally worth it! Hiked the entire trail in about an hour with pictures and taking in all the majestic:)

Beware, recent storms (winter 2023) have toppled many trees making the trail inaccessible in spots. If you’re okay with climbing over massive trees, go for it. But it will be tricky if you have a dog (like we did) or small children or anyone not willing to do some scrambling. We went last week (3/30/2023) That said, we did get into the trail a little ways before turning around (due to time) and we enjoyed the trees, small waterfalls, and just being surrounded by glorious trees. Park Ranger was there as we left and said, “it was worse than I thought it would be. ”

Beautiful little loop with creeks and redwoods. Also highly recommend doing the hike along the Chetco River that starts at Loeb state park's campground

Small parking lot and bathrooms but worth it because the trail was amazing and well groomed!
