Camping Store REI reviews
17I went to buy HOKA shoes I found a pair went to stand in line it was not marked. The lady and customer told me the line is back there I stood there for 5 minutes and there was 6 people in line. Nobody said nothing. So I left the shoes there and walked out. Not happy. I will not come back. Very disappointed.
It's one of my favorite places. The staff are helpful and friendly. The equipment is comprehensive for most outdoor activities.
I changed my rating due to the way management handled a return situation yesterday. One of the rudest interactions I have ever had period! People on the floor still rocked it. Love this store. The crew is always so helpful.
Phenomenal employees who are Uber knowledgeable and FRIENDLY. LOVE THIS PLACE. ELLIOT US GREAT!
Love REI, been a member over forty years and it just keeps getting better. When I first joined it was one of the only places to get good backpacking equipment, and now it is my first stop for most of our outdoor gear.
I have wheelchair that has essentially bike tires and I just had new tires put on it was quick and they even had to put in a tube because of a tear in the tube.
As a PCT thru hiker. They have very little you actually need. No bug nets, limited clothing options.just sad for my first REI
Great help from person working on the floor. Stood in line 10 minutes to pay while three clerks gossiped behind the counter. Very sad service from REI.
This REI is rather small and not well stocked compare to larger towns REI stores. Staff is friendly and helpful. There inventory is low in bikes, shoes, maps, camping supplies and more. It is still a place I like to shop. I just wish they stocked more selections and sizes.
Because we bought tires from REI and we are members, they put the new tire on our bikes for free. Friendly and great job!
Great experience, being an rei member and having access to the returns really paid for the membership. I highly recommend supporting this company. They are doing it right! For the business, the employees and the customers! Shout out to Jim for his friendly and professional support and help. He went above and beyond while I was testing out a tent on the return rack before buying it.
Great sales right now! And the people were all super friendly and helpful. Love all the colorful lightweight t-shirts, both long and short-sleeved.
Bill at the Medford REI (shoe department) was INCREDIBLE. Give this man a raise. He is at this moment accommodating me and my wife with figuring out what Hokas we need. Thank you, man!
Omg. I absolutely LOVE this store. So many things to buy! The employees are so helpful and awesome
Outstanding food and great service. First place I have in the area that hashbrowns were actually done. All good.
Wife loved the cinnamon bun.
I love this place, the products are nice, but I adore the people. Elise, Terry, Ed, Kyle, and pokey are amazing. They always go above and beyond. Give them a raise or something cool. They deserve it! They are always so helpful. I appreciate them.
This place really does deserve 5 stars, but I needed to get the attention of management. There’s one long haired male employee who’s had the worst customer service. I just walked out of the store with my hands full of heavy bike parts and he watched me struggle to push the button as he stood there. This isn’t the first time I’ve left the store surprised that he’s in the retail industry. Everyone else has been nothing short of incredible and helpful but because of this one employee I’ve left two separate times now upset. I’m not even the person to leave reviews, ever. Special thank you to the bike shop though, they’re the best and I love dealing with them.
