Best rent well class's to date. I'll be signing up again
The queen of rent well taught me:)
I loved that teacher, I need to find her!

The education trumps any fees, for lawyers and upcoming problems.if I'm correct, I have a major lawsuit on my hands, for being illegally evicted and the landlord NOT paying me to move.
Instead jennifer at lone pine apartments put me right back out on the streets for another year, with a 600 deposit.

I took the 15-hour online course and found it incredibly empowering and informative, and my point of contact, William, was always available via email to answer my questions and give me updates. As someone who is comfortable with technology, the website/lessons were accessible to me and easy to navigate.

It is very intimidating trying to mitigate issues with landlords and go through the various application/court/etc processes as someone with screening barriers; you often start to feel like you're not worthy or capable of finding a safe, comfortable place to live because of past struggles, and it's been invaluable to me to not only learn the facts about tenant rights and rental procedures, but to be treated as a human being with inherent value and rights to housing.

I especially appreciated learning how to communicate professionally with my landlord - I've already used these skills and they have helped me have less anxiety about my housing issues and have hope for the future. There are many property management companies that advertise to RentWell graduates in their rental criteria, and I will update this review when/if my certificate helps me get approved for a place that I otherwise wouldn't.

Altogether, I would recommend this program to anyone with screening barriers. While they can't guarantee housing, the information and reassuring, empowering vibe of the course is very useful on its own. It really helps to know there are people out there willing to help you succeed and who want you to find stable housing.
