Richard Fenscak Cathedral Tree Trail Trailhead reviews
5 This trailhead is almost entirely uphill so prepare accordingly. If you are not used to hiking or walking, it is going to be difficult even if the trip is considered short or mild by other reviewers.
The gravel on the trail makes dry walking dangerous for anyone without the right kind of shoes. Elderly, be aware before entering!
Otherwise, the view is amazing and old growth is beautiful.
Picture taken in 1993. That baby (still a baby thirty years later) roams Astoria to this day.
Pretty cool. Distances marked on the sign were WAY off (it's a very short hike from the parking along the road). Or maybe I misread the sign?
Short hike, beautiful greenery. Neat little trail. Cool tree. 9/10 would go again.
A short and delightful hike through beautiful older growth that ends at a beautiful 300+ year old Sitka Spruce. Short enough for most adventurers of all ages. There are a few steeper pieces to the trail, but they don't last too long.
