So far so good. No place is perfect. I need to spend more time before I can make a comprehensive analysis.

So far my time here has been lovely. The tenant relations team has been very helpful and compassionate with me, and the neighborhood I live in is exciting and fun! When I first moved into the unit, it was very clean, the building seemed well-maintained, and even though the elevator happened to be broken during my move in, the management team was in communication on repairs, timelines, and other information. We have an app that we can send photos and maintenance requests for all sorts of issues as needed, and we can get in touch with the relations team through there as well. I’m glad they excepted me in as a tenant and I look forward to staying with them as long as I can.

Lived here for 7 years and spent the last year dealing with bedbugs. We had to have three fumigations and then finally a very expensive heat treatment. We spent a total of $4000 dealing with the bedbugs. Anchor was not transparent the entire time about charges and when we'd be charged. If you're going to live here make sure your renters insurance covers bedbugs.

Anchor management was always available and responsive to my needs, I lived there for only 6-7 months, had to break my lease because of a job change but I would have stayed there and renewed my lease if my job had stayed in Portland. It is clean, the walls are a bit thin but what new construction isn't? I always felt secure in the building and every policy was spelled out in the contract. One must read it, the comment about being charged for a chair left out? That was in the contract. I felt that these specifications helped to decrease mess and potential blight within the community. My neighbors were all respectful. Please note: if you get home after 10pm, please remove your high heels and don't stomp around. Someone downstairs was trying to sleep. ;-)

Absolutely love this place. Just renewed my lease for 2 years. Great location, restaurants, shopping, neighborhood. But you gotta love dogs!

This management company is completely unbelievable. They violated me for the most outrageous reasons. They never took my welfare in consideration. They reported me to my HUD caseworker about things that were never checked out before notifying HUD of violations. They sent these notices prior to talking to me or notifying me of possible situations that could have left me dead or hurt. One instance was that a man entered the security building by catching the door as another tenant exited and proceeded to my apartment. He let himself in and I wasn't home at the time because I was at a medical appointment. This man was described as a Filthy Dirty Man that was covered in dirt and looked like he hadn't bathed in a long time. This wasn't anyone I knew. I was lucky that I wasn't home at the time. He could have killed me or robbed me. Who knows what his intentions were. Anyway, the management company had never had a problem with calling me before but they didn't even try to let me know that a possible killer could have entered my apartment. This kind of behavior was common practice with them. My HUD caseworker didn't believe me when I told her that I was being targeted by this company and took my section 8 voucher from me. Since then I have been homeless because I can't afford another apartment due to my SSI income doesn't cover the prices of a studio apartment now. I am not sure when I will be able to move forward due to this property management company. "Anchor Northwest" you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Sincerely,
Janet Marsh
