Called prior to visiting regarding sewing machine repairs. Spoke with Julie, and met with her in-store. She was awesome, fixed the machine within minutes, provided some tips, and we were on our way. Excellent service, kind, patient, da bomb!

Friendly and knowledgeable! Took my new 1950’s Singer hand crank sewing machine in to be checked out. I thought I had possibly damaged it while learning to use it. The problem was identified and corrected in about 5 minutes. No charge. I will definitely take machine in for any upkeep it may need. Highly recommend to others!

You can’t ask for better service than Tim Cox at Rich’s. Walked in with my wife’s sewing machine which was making a strange noise, and in less than 5 minutes Tim had it fixed and for no charge. These days, service like that is so rare, we were stunned and had to report it here. Our sincere thanks!

I bought a babylock Soprano and it’s the worst machine I’ve ever owned. But what’s worse is that I tried to get my machine serviced at this store and it was absolutely the most poor service. Before they opened this one I went to the one in Albany owned by them. I was told that there wasn’t anything wrong with my tension, that I needed to switch to cone thread because the little spools don’t relax enough to work right so I did switch to cone made no difference I ended up talking to the area rep and taking it to a Portland babylock dealer and surprise he found the problem right away. I took my machine to Albany three times and nothing was fixed I took it one time to Portland and they fixed it I would trade it in right now for anything but a babylock and. Have to drive to Portland to get it serviced. Buyer beware
