Rife's Home Furniture, Coos Bay OR

I love shopping at Rifes in Coo's Bay. They have nice furniture at reasonable prices and they are very friendly and helpful. We like working with our sales person. They are great and very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this store.

We recently purchased 3 separate items from our local Rife’s. One was in stock so the other 2 pieces had to be ordered. Both of those items were not ordered when we were told they would be due to lack of communication by employees.

Awesome customer Service! They didn't follow you around! They just stated that they are there if we have any questions. Found a couch, she helped me with color, ect. Awesome, Love It

Rife's had the perfect dining set for my space. It was in my budget and it's absolutely beautiful. No high pressure sale, the salesman was helpful but not pushy.

Russle is an amazing associate. He helped us with all our needs. He made the process and stress of purchasing the right furniture a breeze! Highly recomend Rife's and tell Russle paul sent you!

Steven at the Coos Bay store located the small sectional I had found (on line). He gave me a competitive price and 3 weeks later his crew had it set up in my living room.

Ordered some furniture at the end of January. Part of the order was a dining room table and 4 chairs. They told me they only had 1 chair in stock and that they'd have to order the 3 other chairs and that they should be in by the end of February. February came and went. Nothing. I called and was told mid March. Came and went. Then I called after mid March, was told beginning of April. Same thing. Came and went. I called again. Was told mid April. Same thing. I called them last week and finally told them how frustrated I was with the situation. Was told that they were having a big shipment coming in on Friday and they'd call me Saturday to let me know if my chairs were in it. Low and behold, they didn't call me. I called them today and the guy said "Let me check on this. I'll call you back in 30 min. " I express my concern that I wouldn't in fact be called back as I've been told that before and never received a call back. Low and behold, 30 minutes have come and gone and no call. I called back after an hour and got their voicemail. So, I left a message expressing my disappointment with their lack of customer service and lack of caring that I haven't received my 3 chairs after I ordered them over 3 months ago. I would never recommend this company to anyone else and strongly advise against even stepping in their doors. If you appreciate good customer service, this is NOT the place to go.

UPDATE: I finally received a call back from a lady saying they had my chairs and that they wanted to schedule my delivery date for Wednesday May 5th. I asked that since I was told originally that I'd have my chairs back at the end of February that I should get them sooner. She said they couldn't. I asked about their return policy. She said 72 hours. I haven't received my entire order, but they don't care. I argued with her for a bit demanding that they be delivered sooner only to be told that they actually don't have them, but rather, they're in Eugene. Not in the Coos Bay store as she originally said on the call. Finally got them to schedule the delivery of the 3 chairs for Monday May 3rd at 2pm. I highly doubt they'll keep their promise that I'll have my chairs delivered by Monday. I've totally lost faith in Rife's furniture. I will never purchase from them again.

Well it’s been 6 months and I still don’t have my ottoman to complete my sectional set I spent $4,000 on back in October of 2020. Whatever you do, DO NOT GET FURNITURE THAT IS MADE TO ORDER HERE! I realize Covid slowed a lot of production down but 6 freaking months? ! I am so disappointed in Rifes, I’ve been lied to by an employee about a “discount” he was going to give me for messing up my order and not realizing it until it was too late and he thought I wouldn’t notice him actually not giving me a discount at all, not to mention the time it’s taking to fulfill my order when I was told it would of been completed back in January, then told it would be done in March and now it is mid April and they are still about a month or two out.by the time I get my ottoman I would have ordered it 8 months ago! I will never purchase anything from Rifes again, the worst experience I’ve ever had with any store.

We had a great experience with Rifes in Roseburg Oregon. We shopped for several pieces of furniture on Black Friday. They were busy, but took great care of us. Delivery process is awesome even though I keep changing the dates! Thanks, we’ll be back.

Russell was extremely personable and helpful, and my furniture (a Nectar bed, dining set, and couch) was delivered a few days later. They even hauled away my old mattress and box springs! They are a tiny bit more expensive, but to be honest, it was well worth it. I didnt have to worry about anything, and the delivery guys were here for 15 minutes, and that included setting up my bed, AND I have stairs! Impressive:)

The sales staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I was able to walk in, choose a sofa for my living room, purchase it and schedule delivery all very quickly and easily.

The delivery workers called me the day before my scheduled drop off and again about an hour before they were leaving the warehouse to drop it off. They were professional and wore masks for COVID precaution.

Would recommend 10/10 to do business with them again.

We had shopped around for a couch and found terrific high price items and cheap imports, then at Ride's we found a perfect size & perfect color. To top the deal, our item was made in Oregon, and was a discontinued item. We got the floor sample at a great price, delivered in a couple days from competent fellows.

Excellent from the salesperson all the way to delivery. The salesman Garrett was pleasant and helpful. The delivery guys worked their tails off as the Furniture we bought was heavy and cumbersome. We’re really happy with our all electric loveseat, recliner sofa and recliner.

Our experience with selecting, purchasing & receiving delivery of our furniture from Rife's was super! Good value, great looking furniture, and pleasant service. The delivery team was punctual, courteous and did a very nice job. Absolutely would purchase from Rife's again!
