Rock Creek Trail reviews
14This is a high quality trail, following the Rock Creek stream and associated wetlands. An impressive amount of infratructure is involved to elevate this urban walkway on wooden bridges for much of it's length, making it passable in the winter and providing a quiet retreat from the traffic and human congestion it leaves behind.
I work near Rock Creek Trail. Sometimes I enjoy fresh air with a nice quick walk here before work.
Perfect for long runs. If you plan it right you don't have to carry water either, as there are water fountains scattered throughout. After evergreen, you go under a bridge and you then have to take a left and then your first right and you can follow it up past the golf course, and past Bethany lake. Awesome trail.
Love this trail. No graffiti no homeless camps and great surroundings. Very peaceful and my dog loves coming here.
Very scenic nature walk. This is a great trail for someone wanting to get away from the city noise and enjoy nature. The trees throughout the trail are just beautiful especially this time of year. I highly recommend this trail for anyone it is very smooth walking and not very stressful on the body. Great trail for all ages.
Trail is right behind our apartment, we walk on it multiple times a week for a few years now. Lovely trail and we'll kept up. It goes for quite a long way stretching all the way down to Bethany or up to orenco woods park. Highly recommend.
I wouldn't go out of my way to walk this trail. But it's close to our current residence and we walk it often. I like that there's lots of shade and variety along the trail. It could be longer.
Very nice urban trail, easy walk, abundant vegetation, some wildlife, benches, not over-populated.
The trail is paved or a wood walkway over the wet lands. The wood in the walk way is starting to deteriorate and the screws heads are protruding up. The brush needs to be cleared from the pathway and cyclists will often ride through.
I really like this trail. It starts (or ends) just south of Orchard Park and keeps going north, up and past Bethany Lake. If you live in the area it's a great place to walk, run, bike, etc.and not be on the main street. It follows Rock Creek and therefore is full of bridges. You pass a bit of a swampy area in between Cornell and Evergreen Parkway, which is actually very beautiful. I've spotted rabbits, snakes, birds of course, and squirrels here. It's a nice piece of the wild in an otherwise very busy area.
Long beautiful naturenature within city limits, with many other trails and parks branching off of it. Great for skating because it's almost completely paved except for some wood brides. 7/7 would trail again
My brother and I were walking if that Park it's a great Park and I'm so kind of a circular route approximately a mile long!
This place is great for a walk. The trail is short distance. You can bring your dog for a walk. They have poopy bags around the trail. It gets busy mostly in the afternoons and the weekends. The view here in the winter is amazing. I would recommending coming here and enjoying the scenery.
There are no restrooms on the trail except at the Cherry Lane trail head and Orchard park. So you will want to plan ahead.
