Rogue Ales & Spirits reviews
16Was in Newport for the weekend, decided to stop by. Amazing food, great drinks on tap, charming staff with patient attitudes! We all loved our serves, Duncan and the next night Eric. They were kind, professional, and charming.
Delicious food, great service! Johnathan, Eric and Duncan went above and beyond to help us get a few things to add to our brewery collection. I cannot say enough, these boys need a raise!
Great staff. Didn't realize they offered beer samples right off the bat. Food was good, giant portion. Got the root beer, it was good but my only complaint was it was not on tap/draft.
Beer tasting was fun and the beer good. The guy serving us seemed to believe the louder he talked, the friendlier he was. Not! It actually hurt our ears.and probably those around us.
We stopped in for a bite. While crabbing off of peir. Had a salmon sandwich and a cider beer can't member name of drink but it was very good.
Attention all military personal, I'm a disabled vet. Was denied access to eat, my blood sugar was low. And my medical condition does not allow me to wear a mask. Was harassed and made feel embarrassed, about my disability. Tried to explain but was told to leave, and ridiculed on my way out. I fought for the right for this business to be here today, but was laughed at. I got very sick after this, and had to go to the hospital. These people need to know who is exempt and not, would not support or go here again. I beg all military to follow my lead, this is not American at all.
Everything at Rogue Brewer's is great. The staff, the beer and spirits and the food are all exceptional. Highly recommend.
Such a fun experience! Our bartender/server was such a joy. He was slammed with orders but his spirits remained high, and he whipped out his best gaga dance moves to keep us entertained as we waited for our delicious food.
My family has stayed in Newport many times and crabbed off the dock a lot, but had never eaten here because we assumed it would be a tourist trap. We were missing out. We finally ate here and the prices were surprisingly good, the food was great, and the service was very friendly and professional.
Now, I'm not a drinker and yet I found myself having a lovely afternoon at the coast enjoying the best cheese curds I've ever had in the dining room of the Rogue Brewery's on the Bay! Kid friendly atmosphere a must have lunch stop in Newport on Oregon's coast!
Was so good we had to go twice! Great beers, good food, cool vibes.love brewers on the bay:) special shout-out to the servers we had, Duncan and Jonathan, so sweet, energetic and fun.definitely stop by if you’re in newport
The food was amazing, the beer was incredible, and the service was also just fantastic!
Highly recommend the cheese curds and the battered prawns. I don't know what kind of magic these guys are doing to make that batter so light, but it was just perfect!
Seemed like a decent place. Pretty busy so we just walked through and looked at a menu board. Prices are very reasonable for a touristy town.
My wife and I visited and a rainey day. It was my second visit to the brewery and the people are always nice there. The gentleman at the bar offered beer samples and answered any questions about the history of the brewery and beer.
I love coming to Rogue. Their pub has amazing food and an incredible beer section. I like getting growlers to go from the bar and other chilled and ready to go drinks from the merch shop. I always stop by Rogue when I’m in Newport.
What a great experience! After visiting the duty free shop and purchasing a very cool Dead Guy Ale zip up hoody and a quality Dead Guy Ale beanie, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch in the restaurant. Our server was Juan. He was friendly, attentive and very informative, even though he was also busy with a table of 22 guests at the same time! Juan offered us a sampling of two different ales, one of which was a hit! The Pineapple Punch Ale was not quite our taste but much more pleasant than I would have imagined. The Dreamland American Lager was delicious! Paired with a shot of Rouge River Straight Rye Malt Wiskey (sooo smooth and tasty) $12 paired, was a delightful treat!
The food. OMG! I ordered the Northwest Garden Salad. A generous and beautiful presentation! Fresh and absolutely delicious! The house made basil vinaigrette is something that I will crave for the rest of my life! I fully enjoyed every bite! They can't sell it In a bottle because it's made fresh. My new project will be to try to re-create it at home. Wish me luck!
My guy ordered the Dead Guy Fish and Chips. I had to sneak just one bite.even though my diet plan does not include fried foods.can I just say.if there is a heaven.the best, lightly battered, fresh flakey halibut that just melts in your mouth! He also ordered a cup of their clam chowder, also not in my diet plan but, again.had to sneak a bite. I could just melt. So, so good!
From the superior service to the tip top quality of the food, this was truly a pleasurable dining experience. When I received the bill, under $60, I couldn't help recall the many dining experiences at that price point that did not come close in every respect. If you have an opportunity to visit and dine at Rouge River Brewing Nation, Newport OR. DO IT!
