Rogue River Gorge Viewpoint reviews
17An great place to stop and stretch the legs with a short walk along the gorge. Signs provide information for an easy self guided tour!
Great little break on the way to crator Lake. The pit toilet was "clean. " Pretty cool spot to check out
Awesome drive to and from the gorge, entry fee per car$30, many places to stop and have a picnic and enjoy mature
Very scenic road and view. The trees have grown up at the official viewpoint, so it's not as good as some other spots along the roadside.
The bathrooms are terrible. Plenty of trees nearby as an option.
Gorgeous view of the rapids in a beautiful fir tree lined gorge. There are at least 4 view areas easy enough to get to. Definitely a must see. Has two pit toilets and lots of parking, with 1 handicapped parking. A few info boards to read as well.
We just happened to see this place on our way to Crater Lake. A serene and beautiful place. The gorge was eye catching.
Really cool place to see if you have the time. It's a short hike to the different viewpoints and the lava tubes.
Just Go!
Love the rushing water & BEAUTIFUL River Also- Amazing food & Pie @ the cafe.
I stopping at the gorge to stretch my legs a bit, and take the short but scenic walk along the gorge.
Do not skip this viewpoint! Less than 1/2 mile round trip with gorgeous views of the Rogue River and the gorge! Easy for kids and ADA accessible.
Amazing views of the Rogue river as it tumbles and falls through lava flows and tubes. Stopped by on our way out of the Crater Lake area, so glad we did. Easy little walk on a paved path. There were a few people, but not crowded at all. Take the time for a stop, you won’t regret it.
We stopped along the way and stopped here for the amazing views. The parking lot was clean and easy to navigate. It was a short walk to a nice view of the falls and gorge. Along the path were informative posters that explained the environment and plants in the area. Worth the ten or fifteen minutes you will spend there.
Beautiful unique area we have driven by many times. Took the short walk to view this beautiful area on our last trip through and we’re very happy we did.
A beautiful place with a few viewing spots by the Rogue River. The informative placards have very interesting facts about the gorge.
Everything about the drive from Glide. Oregon via hwy 138 to 230 is a must for campers hikers.
Great for families with young children. The best parts have paved trails that I think would be stroller accessible. There are stairs in one area that would not be stroller accessible, but they are optional. We were happy we stopped and recommend it.
So many different viewpoints and informative signs. Short and mostly flat walk from the parking lot to the top viewpoint of the falls. Really beautiful! There's also the option of a longer hike if you want. There are also pit toilet outhouses.
