If you can't find what you're looking for at a reasonable price you probably can do without. Shopping there helps the community. They are very friendly and are willing to negotiate prices.
I stop in there anytime I'm in Roseburg never knowing what you may find. Rarely do I leave without something I didn't know I needed. There's 2 stores, one mostly apparel and kitchen items and every once in awhile a real treasure in collectibles, memorabilia and antiques. The store across the street has everything from flat screen TVs, stereo equipment, tools, sporting goods and furniture. There's also a bicycle repair ship inside.

This place is trash. John Roy is a fake he doesn't care about anyone who resides there. They run the place like a sweat shop. Programmers only get 25$ a week but work 40 hrs every week and cant have a real job and be on the program. The entire place is infested with bed bugs and They kick people out randomly for no reason at all

Most of the people that work for the mission are very cranky homeless people do not need people's attitudes because they deal with people that attitudes towards them all day when they are going in need of help they don't need more struggles

I think that these people could be a little more nicer to the homeless not all of them for the most part they're very nice and generous but there is a few of them that do not like their job so they should go find another job then homeless people need to be loved they are people too!

This place pretends to care. I'm not homeless and all I hear are horror strories. Don't let reviews from privileged people on here blind your judgement, this place is the reason we don't have a real mental health/homeless facility in DC. Because it's easier to brainwash the homeless and have a monopoly on services.

Excellent service for homeless men in our community. They offer much needed and quality services to men who need a meal and a place to sleep. They have rules and a required check-in time. No drugs or alcohol. Recovery program and a long term live in program for the truly motivated. Much more included.
