Ross Dress for Less reviews
22The Ross on Lancaster has more products than the downtown store (Salem, Ore). Have been treated well at both locations.
Sadly due to covid, at this time access was limited. The had like 30 people lined up waiting to enter as someone exited. Not having the patience at this time, I left without bothering to wait.
The staff however seem very helpful and organized.
Had to return a bra that didn't fit. Sales associates were rude over a bag. I didn't want to throw away my bag, was going to reuse it and they acted snooty about it. The associate who greeted me was snooty about following the arrows in the store. I didn't do anything wrong. Don't think I will be back they were rude. Sales clerk and other associates acted like it was an inconvenience for me to be there. It's sad because I love shopping there and usually buy a lot of stuff. Guess they don't care about my business. I felt humiliated and belittled.
I'm hard to fit but I found some great black capris! Their inventory was pretty low in some things
I would think for a billion dollar corporation like Ross they could have security insure that people stay 6 ft apart at least in line. This place is a mad house. The dude at the front door reminding people to stay 6 ft apart and follow arrows is not enforcing anything while observing customers invading others' spaces and the whole place is unsafe.
I've been a customer here for a long time, but I'm not comfortable anymore after seeing this repeatedly. I have to think about the safety of my family and community and Ross is not putting in the effort to keep people safe.
It's unacceptable.
My shopping experience was disappointing. The bra and underwear section was a mess and sizes were scattered everywhere. It made finding what I was looking for very challenging since nothing was organized. I won't be back.
The place was empty. I understand about changing the clothes for a new season but what about everything else that is not seasonal. I asked if they were going out of business and they said no.they are waiting for the trucks to bring new stuff to fill the store
The store was close to emptya most of the products were sold out. After waiting in line for 20 minutes I was so surprised there wasn't any inventory hardly. They said they will be getting more inventory so, I'll be back!
Good store for cool stuff. Security has to lighten up. The world won't end if I don't follow the arrows. I just wanted to buy my clothes in peace.
Worst Ross in town. Horrible customer service and very rude staff. Store is usually a mess and has long lines. Possibly understaffed compared to other locations and probably due to poor management.
I had a ball at this big thrifty department-esque store. Seriously check it out sometime you'll definitely leave with one of something. ️
So much variety, so much fun, new ideas make you come back for more, and they got a lot of nice girls
I go there for the very best deals on housewares, especially decorative items. They have the most individual and creative baskets of every color and material. Wood, natural texture basketry at the most reasonable prices I’ve ever seen. Oh yes, they also have clothing there. Lots of surprises around every corner.
These places are great for finding discounted items for home and your self. Service is usually pretty quick.
Not a perfect store but the employees do their best. The customer's are the worst part of the shopping experience. People let their kids run wild, and have a hard time sharing the aisle's for some reason. Its a great place to shop when its slow, pretty hectic when it is busy. Great deals, Good service, and centrally located. Good parking too.
This is absolutely the place you've been missing. That's if you like security eye-ball frisking you at the door. And, security stalking you around the store. Oh, and security scrutinize your check out. You will absolutely fall in love.
Parking is fine, you'll find lots of attention (from security), hours are decent for Salem.
The selection sends varied and somewhat eclectic, but I dunno, I had my eye on security.
Despite all the security personnel, security cameras and monitors to let you know they are surveiling you (in case you had doubt). I didn't feel safe. Ironic right? Maybe some Marshals to keep the security in check.
I don't believe metal detectors are installed, as i wasn't wanded and was allowed to keep my shoes on. However, keep on the side of caution. No belts, leave your handbags at home and for heaven's sake no liquids greater than 8oz.
Usually bargain prices compared to full retail, but many clothing items are at the end of their style range, that translates into a limited selection.
It's like a prison in there you have to go through a whole ship nagging again just to get into the dressing room
Decent prices and a much larger selection, including skirts/maternity clothes, than other locations.
Management cannot get on the same page and there is a huge attitude problem among MODs. Stacy G is very confrontational and likes to yell to show her authority and it feels like a high school atmosphere. Literally one of the worst work experiences I've ever had. No reliable hours. Your schedule is different every single week and if you want more hours, you must call in at 7am every day and wait around all day to wait for a call back to fill a shift. Extremely difficult to have a normal home life.
