Roth's Fresh Markets, Salem OR

I didn't get good service in Deli. I was waiting twice and Jo one offered assistance. I asked supervisor if Deli was open and she walked me back to Deli. The clerk literally bit off the supervisors head when asked why customers not getting assistance. Roth is more expensive but with that supposedly comes customer service. Roth needs more help at these counters and less waiting for customers.

I have always loved Roth's, however this one.not so much. I believe Mitchell is the manager and he is great! Very helpful and friendly. However, this store does not have the customer service it once had. I think the only person working in the entire store who is friendly is the manager, no one else seems to care. Let's face it nobody shops at Roth's for the prices or for the choices (because there isnt many), we shop there for the convenience and the great customer service. If the customer service sucks then really what is the point?

I'm thirty years old and I've never seen a checker call another checker over the intercom to verify a Washington drivers license for alcohol. I've also never seen anyone ask me to pull down my mask to prove it's me on the ID. I can never shop hear again, as I have never had to deal with difficult employees at Fred Meyer or anywhere else.

Love the store and donuts! We totally miss Saturday morning breakfast though. I hope they bring it back soon!

I have been a customer for 25+ years. Stopped in at the deli for some things. Not only do they carry my favorite meats, Boarshead, but the staff is always very courteous and helpful. Thank you to all the great employees for being there right now! I truly appreciate you!

Terrible! The little blond haired checkout girl was very rude and I will not shop there ever again!

The quality of the meat department is awesome. Nice selection. Pam in Deli and coffee service is such a fantastic employee.

This store is always clean and has a really nice Meat & Bakery selection. Roth's is an expensive grocery store, so those are the only departments I usually shop in. The employees are always nice and checkout is quick.

Best cake donuts in town. This place treats you well. Okay not the cheapest place in town but you feel safe shopping here.

Roths is amazing and friendly. The prices may seem a little higher, but you are paying extra for quality and the fact you don't have to be around less than disireable people such as you would find at Walmart.

Had a sushi and beer today. I could order both and sit and enjoy them in their sitting area.

I will certainly go back.

Ever since the pandemic hit its been our go to for small trips. It is more expensive but service is better than Freddy's or Roths.

I have been visiting this store since I was a young child. They always have great service and everything I'm looking for at competitive prices. Their bakery and produce sections are stars at this location. Always have to grab a fresh treat from both. Don't leave without French Bread! You will thank me.

Well besides it beening on the more expensive side of the scale for most things its got some of the best produce in town. The staff is friendly & my favorite part is this place still has those mini carts that are for kids to push.

They have a fresh salad bar and a grill ready to take your order (though at this location, the grill is very slow). Fresh made sushi every day and the bakery department has a nice selection of ready made treats.

I pay top dollar for Roth's produce and I'm almost always disappointed. Its. Frequently old when I buy it. The Garlic is like powder and rotten. The fruit sometimes never ripen. It looks fresh but is not. Thumbs down!

Decent outfit, friendly meat staff, easy parking n getting in and out of this store, wide variety. Don't 100 percent of the time treat employees with respect.
But good matching 401k option to their employees n health insrnc.

Heard that Roth carries la familia cider so came to pick some up, if your into hard ciders you gotta try la familia ciders

Best deli and bakery in town! Employees are always friendly, going above and beyond to satisfy. In numerous occasions they have gone to their “racks” to retrieve and/or prepare an item that was not on the shelf. Very impressed with this neighborhood grocery store.

Great selection of food wine and meat. FYI they have the best burgers and Donuts in Salem. Thank me later
