Royal Barge Thai Cuisine reviews
18Found hair inside the fresh wrap the owner said I put it there also yellow curry with tofu dosen't say it has broccoli in it on the menu I don't eat broccoli. The owner told me never to come back after she took the money for thefood.
Disappointed. The green curry and pad broccoli were bland and boring. The tofu wasn't cooked, just thrown in the curry and it seemed like they were missing ingredients? Just broccoli and bell peppers in the green curry. Much better options in town!
This place has really great food. One of my favorite places to get noodles from. The portions are pretty large from ehat i remember so you definitely get your money's worth. I highly recommend this place if you love Thai food.
Nice place to have dinner with friends. Food is good and people that work there are very friendly and polite.
Some of the horderves do seem to come out of frozen packages though. But most of the food is light and fresh.
The food as always was very good
I was upset with my server who looked right at me and did wait on me. There was only one other person in the restaurant and there order was taken. The waiter was eating their lunch but did make time to serve several people who came in for take out.
Atmosphere was okay but could take some updating.
Good pricing, can't really say the same about the food. We did a combo dinner and Tom yum soup, both were very underwhelming. Can't say we will be back anytime soon.
Food was good but as my daughter commented 'I'm satisfied but not blown away. ' I had panang curry with chicken and she had orange chicken. Both were ok.
Best top ramen in town! 2nd best top ramen I ever had in my whole life! We ordered Pad Kee Mow. Menu said egg noodles. Got top ramen with vegetables, chicken and egg in it. Seriously! It was actually top ramen. Both of us could even taste the seasoning packet! Never order drunken noodles here unless you seriously love top ramen and are Willing to pay $12 for it. Only good thing was the Thai Iced tea had coconut cream instead of dairy. Every Thai food joint should make it this way!
So good! We were visiting from it if town, we tried the yellow coconut curry, mixed vegetable stir fry and the mango tofu. Highly recommend.
Honestly was not great. First time eating here. Came just before lunch rush and wasn't busy at all, which I usually prefer as the food should be as fresh as possible and made without rushing. The rice was definitely not fresh, very dry (not crunchy) and some parts were completely hardened together, seemed like it was yesterday's rice which is strange considering the extremely low cost of rice. I got the pad cashew with beef lunch special. I took a bite from the outer edge and it was warm, not super hot. I then took a bite from the center and it was so hot it burnt my tongue immediately. Kind of seems like it was microwaved to me. I'm not an expert, but it just seemed like simple things were being skipped or overlooked to save a few cents and/or a few minutes of prep/cook time. Not sure why anyone would want to serve food that way. The dressing on the house salad was 100% Ken's honey mustard, without a doubt. It's my favorite store bought honey mustard and I always have a bottle in the fridge, so I didn't mind that being the dressing. The only problem is it was very watered down. Again just something to save literally cents.
I have been going to the Royal Barge many years. The food has always been excellent and delicious. My favorites are the Pad Thai, Prik King, and Curry Masamen.
Service and prices are good. It is located a block from Historic Downtown, Grants Pass. An after lunch visit to downtown shops and galleries are a must and within walking distance.
First time I've gone somewhere to eat and had it be entirely inedible. We couldn't finish any of the 3 dishes we ordered. Polite waitress, slow service, small portions, terrible food.
Food here used to be consistently amazing and I would come here a lot, I used to recommend this place to a lot of people, after some time i came back here, the place was almost completely empty, I ordered the same stuff, and it came out horrible, the noodles were not that good, broccoli was uncooked and hard, no salad with my food, which I used to get with the food, now ordered separately, mushrooms are cold, crunchy, undercooked rice, tea isn’t the same, I had to ask for things like forks, spoons, soy sauce, sugar, which we all used to get after ordering without asking. I feel sick after eating.
Without question, this was the most disgusting food i’ve had in my entire life. Feeling very sick as I type this just in case I don’t make it, I have to prompty give you zero stars for your zero integrity. You bring shame to Thailand and Thai people everywhere.shame on you!
Inedible food, waited 40 minuted when was told only 20. Used wrong noodles for the dishes we ordered very bland. The sauces tasted like gross tap water. Doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. Waste of time and money.
Great food and service was spot on. Friendly staff. Did I mention the Red Curry! The best! They even make it hot, medium or mild. I absolutely love their house salad dressing.
Been looking for good Thai food since moving from Texas. I am so glad my granddaughter told me about this place. Awesome food!
Tempura calamari was excellent. They also have a decent bowl of street noodle soup. Will be returning to try other dishes.
