Russ's Place reviews
15Had lunch with some friends who suggested Russ's Place. I'm sure glad I went, great service, and the best burger I've had in a long time. They named it right, The Awesome Burger with fries, very well put together and tasty, will ne going back, I recommend this place.
Staff is always friendly, quick, and very accommodating. Taco Monday is my favorite day of the week. Like home cooking over at Russes.
You feel like family there. Pizza is amazing! Mac and cheese is good too. Pool tables and beer!
Great food.amazing atmosphere.but the real worth of this bar is the locals and Teresa the bar tender. I've never laughed so hard for so long with such a great group of common sensed down to earth and unwoke (thank God) people as these folks. Can't wait to make the 3hr trip just to go back.a true diamond in the rough!
Friendly service and patrons alike. We stopped in for a quick drink after a stroll on the Lewis and Clark trail. Kinda disappointed that they only had beer and wine, but we stuck around and conversed with the locals while we drank cold beers and snacked on some delicious curly fries. Wish they weren’t cash only, too. But they have an ATM onsite.
The food was pretty good, but what impressed me the most was the extremely friendly group of people that go and work there. I had very pleasant conversations with some people that go there on a regular basis. Everyone was extremely nice, helpful, and courteous. I felt like I was back in my small town, even though these people didn’t know me. It felt like a little escape from the hustle and bustle of this city. I’m so glad to see small town community culture surviving despite the rapid expansion of Hermiston.
Staff were friendly. When I arrived to pick up food I was unsure despite the positive reviews.
Opened up the food back at the hotel and was pleased with the quality of the food.
Would order again if in same area.
BTW the fried chicken breast meat was real moist.
We had a group of 9 adults and 5 children for a gathering. The waitress did an amazing job, the food was very good with generous portions and we could not believe the price! For this day and age, more than reasonable!
Great small-town locals bar. Love this place! Didn't have any food items, but bottled beer nice and cold! Friendly people, too! My kind of place.
Good "small, hometown bar" GREAT Taco Pizza lotto machines are a little tight but where aren't they?
If you like dive bars, you found her. And I mean this with respect. We had a blast. The pizza is fantastic, as is the chicken. Only side beer and wine only
Good pizza. IMO, Meat Lover's and Hawaiian especially. Haven't tried much else on the menu yet. Russ's Place is cash only, plan accordingly.
Well shoot, this place is pretty darn good. On the way to Walla Walla we were feeling like we could go for burgers. Russ's place did not disappoint.
Now, there was a little mistake in the kitchen, and the food ended up coming out a fair bit longer than it normally would have. The server explained and apologized and the chef came out personally and brought us some apple crumble dessert. It was really good.
It's on the list.
Excellent pizza. Atmosphere is as usual for a sports bar, but the pizza is very good, and the employees were very attentive and kind.
We decided to try Russ's Place on the recommendation of some friends and weren't disappointed. The staff is awesome, the food (we ordered pizza) is fantastic and the patrons seemed like locals, quite conversational.
We had a large half-and-half pizza that must have weighed close to 5 pounds. Fortunately, our lodging was only a block away.
Best part was the entire evening was virtually free.that's right y'all, my lovely wife won enough on the online gambling machines to cover the cost including a generous gratuity for the bartender.
Gotta love it. Giddy up.
