Ruthton County Park reviews
5 Sad they let this park get neglected. Hopefully, it will get spruced up when the Columbia River Highway Trail is done. Still, if you love old park facilities like I do, this is a good place to check out. Lots of groovy stuff from the 60s and 70s.
There's also a great viewpoint of the river where you can watch the barges and trains go by.
It's one of those places where it looks like you can just take off and fly!
Sprinklers would help the grass, otherwise it's a nice little park. Good views of the river.
I adore this park. It has a lovely view and it's usually quiet. I'd often we go there when I would have the lunch hour. Just to relax and look at the river.
It is a small park tucked away in the West end of Hood River. I would not come here for peace and quiet as the train passes on one side of the park and the interstate on the other. I would, however, come here for breathtaking views, to take a break in your car or to enjoy the nice quaint park area for stretching or running around a bit.
It is a small park at the end of town, not great parking but a very nice view and good shade on a hot day.
I am also happy to see the city is taking care of it again as it had been left to the wilderness over covid times.
