S/NIPPED: Professional and advocates for the many at risk felines. Pictures are my foster kittens. Since 2 wk old. From bottle to healthy rambunctious and then to their forever home. Purple Cat in Crescent City has been my inspiration and my rock. Bless the two ladies who have been caring for the shop all these years. Sincerely CW.
Called to schedule a spay and was basically verbally asulted for doing so. Because she's the only one answering the phones and doing everything by herself so screw me for calling to ask about bringing in a stray. I won't be coming here ill just ignore the cat running around because dealing with such a horrible person for me just trying to help the community. She was very rude and very in the wrong and I will be sure to tell everyone how rudely I was treated for trying to support them and their cause. I was hoping to promote them at the next show now I'm going to make sure no one gets praise for this company
Can't really give much of a review seeing as it's so unbelievably difficult to get an appointment. But I used their service quite a bit in my younger years and they were always fantastic. Hopefully when I get an appointment they will have the same love and care towards my puppy as they use to
I took my 2 female kittens here 2 year's ago. The first kitten they did a really good job. The surgery healed well no problems. But my second kitten got it done 2 weeks later an the Incision area wasn't as nice looking. Forward 2 years later my dog go fleas so checked all my animals my boyfrinds found something in my second cats stomach close to her green tattoo. We thought it was a tick because skin grew around it an it was shining in the light. Turns out it was staples all bunched together from the procedure that intertwined with my cat's skin an was left there. I got so lucky that we caught it 2 year's later an that it didn't get infected an turn into anything worse. My boyfrind that is a surgical nurse was able to remove them safely an she is forever healed from her painful staples that probly left her uncomfortable for 2 year's. THIS PLACC IS Horrible! If I didn't catch this I would of had a huge surgery bill. Please pay the extra money an go to a professional place. Safe from future problems this place can cause!
In the town that I live in there is many stray cats and they kept having kittens in my mom's attic. S/Nipped provided us with a trap to help catch and spay the stray females in our neighborhood so that they did not have to continue to reproduce into homelessness. I wish that this place has all of the funding and staff it needs to continue.
Helpful. They were having a clinic the next day for shots and flea pills. Low cost compared to other animal clinics. Nice lady at front desk.
It's a place of incredible people doing incredible things for our fur babies. They help people get their animals seen by doctors at Hanson-Meekson hospital and give reduced shots for the animals. Rocket my pup is in good shape because of both.
This is the best spay and neuter clinic! I take all three of my cats here for their spay and neuters but also for their shots and flea treatments.very reasonable prices and the staff is very friendly and truly have The animals best interests at heart.
The pick up and drop off it a little weird. My balance got quoted at $30, which cost me $90 in the long run. Over all they are doing the work of the lord and helping keep cats and dogs safe, just wish I was prepared for the price increase better.
This is an absolutely fabulous pet healthy business. Very conscientious and personable about the work that they do. Everything is very covid aware and clean and orderly. They do tend to get backed up and set appointments out quite a ways however it's understandable as the needs that they provide are fabulous. They do pet neuter and spay both cat and dog. They also do deworming flea etc. The animals are then tattooed after they are spayed not your clipped ear which I think is the most wonderful thing ever as it doesn't deform them. And they do a lot of catch and release. Kudos to the crew they are fabulous thank you so very much for being there.
Update: The service provided by this has always exceeded the skill of excellence. I would recommend them to anyone. They handle a lot of things. Spay neuter vaccinations flea medications spaying and neutering and then they have first come first serve wellness checkups. Just call them and find out when they are and make sure you show up early and wait in line it is first come first serve.
All of our cats have been spayed and neutered here and we have never had any problems and the staff is always so friendly and helpful!
Horrible place.went to get my dogs vaccinated and waited 4 hours and Still Didn't get Scene.
Which is ridiculous since I was the fifth person in line to be seen. This place is a joke. Go to a regular vet And get your pet vaccinated It's not that much more expensive and they will actually get seen and they don't make your dog set out in 85 degree weather forever And Never seen.
Had one dog neutered and one spayed. The staff there is awesome especially the front desk. The lady with the dark hair and tattoos is the best she so loves the animals. Thank you all for the care of my pets.
I was nervous about getting my dog spayed due to a friend having a bad experience a couple years ago. They did a fantastic job. Great bedside manner and I even got help with her to my van.
Our Dog Mercury wasn't too happy way to many others people and pets but service and the niceness of all employees awesome
Friendly staff scheduler. I'd give five stars, but I went in on February 21,2023, and my dog's spay appointment isn't until August 3,2023. I am pretty sure they are a lot less expensive than going to any other veterinarian.
You get what you paid for…. It’s a low cost clinic so yes it’s busy and it takes very long to get seen. The ladies in the front super friendly and so was the vet tech assisting us however the Dr.not so much. I get it I was not going to get a full exam and I am okay with that but at least acknowledge our presence. The Dr not once introduced himself or ask if we had any questions or concerns. Even after I said hello I did not get one word from him.
Love the staff and care my puppy gets here. It's great to have a reduced cost veterinary clinic so close by. Thank you for caring for my pup!
