I'm a commercial driver who had an appointment scheduled to have the gasket on my windshield replaced. The windshield was replaced at Safelite and is still under warranty. We've been getting leaks in the rain and whenever the truck is washed for months, and it's getting worse. I bought the gasket myself and only needed for Safelite to honor the warranty by providing labor to apply it, fixing the service failure that Safelite is responsible for (because when they replaced the windshield, they by necessity would have had to apply the gasket).
The manager basically played a game of "nuh uh" and said that it would be a new work order because Safelite "doesn't replace gaskets. " I'm not asking for you to replace a gasket! I have the gasket! It's brand new! I'm asking you to honor the warranty and fix Safelite's mistake in applying the gasket poorly the first time around! We're paying for your labor. This isn't charity! And I already spoke with representatives on the phone who assured me that this would be treated as a service failure on Safelite's behalf, treated as an honoring of the warranty, and duly fixed.
But the manager was being stubborn and flat out refused to help, even though I was already on site with an appointment, with the part and all necessary information, simply asking for what had already been guaranteed.
This is the most unprofessional and ridiculous thing I've dealt with in quite some time.
Honestly, I think the manager is self-important and gets off on telling paying customers "no. "
She should be replaced.

Can't speak to a person, everything is automated, Safelite can't install properly, gaping hole in my seal, they won't fix it

I was hit with a rock on my windshield friday night and contacted safelite with my insurance to process a claim. Made a reservation in May since there wasn't any availability for April or the day of. I went to safelite right when they opened at 0800am and Kyla was running the desk. I told her my situation and got me in right away. Super efficient, friendly, and reliable.the entire staff is here for you.

So right after the amazing safelite crew helped me out.

I got another hit with a rock on my windshield on Saturday, but since they were not open on Sunday, I waited until Monday. Once the amazing ️ KYLA got me in without any issue. Very smooth transition. Kyla was extremely calm and ready attitudes.

Overall better than expected experience. They called me up offering me a earlier time slot than my scheduled one which I accepted. They finished putting a new windshield on my 2014 bmw 435i in about 30 minutes. I was surprised how quick and easy the whole process was. Staff was super friendly too. Highly recommend.

Had scheduled a 9AM appointment, dropped off my car at 8: 45AM. At 3: 45, I went to pickup. My car still sitting in parking space that I left it in. All the other cars 4 to 5, that came after me were gone. My car, literally the only one still waiting to be worked on. Needless to say, I went to another shop. $100 less for same service and glass replacement. Dropped off at 9AM, ready by noon. Will never use this shop, Beaverton or any Safelite.

Had the windshield replaced, it was leaking after they replaced it. They came out to redo it and left me with damages and cowls that were not put back on. Stopped by the store, they said they'd get a hold of the dealership and call me. It's been about 3 weeks haven't heard back. Also, they were unable to calibrate the lane sensor. Had to take it to the dealer for that job.

I would not recommend this location. They broke over 3 parts, replacing my windshield. When I took it to Portland for my warnty work that when they informed me of the clips being broken and they had to order them. Yesterday, on my way home, another part of my windshield flew off because the clips were broken, and they didn't even mention it. They neglected to tell me they broke my car as well as dent it. I am going to be filing a case against them on small claims court as well as reaching out to the BBB. Un acceptable and they lack the integrity. My car doesn't have a finished date and safelite as a company can't even get you connected with localpl they shoot you to a call center and put you on hold while they talk to the store. Support your local body or glass shop, and you will actually receive quality work for the right price. I even attempted to find the part that flew off to validate the lack of care as well as the part that flew off keep water out of my engine bay

Rescheduled an appointment for the following day. Received text and email confirmation of the change. No one called or showed up, and when I attempted to call the local branch, national branch and even used the chat support online I was never able to talk to a single human being about their no call no show. If safelite doesn’t want my money, they don’t have to have it. Local competitor had me scheduled for repair within a 2 minute phone call. Never again.

The technician left broken glass in my car, they also scratched the side of my car and left small pieces of plastic on the windshield. The only good part about my experience was the woman working at the service desk was really sweet and waited at work an extra hour past closing so I could pick my car up that day instead of the next day. Don't go here, I wish I had gone somewhere else with higher reviews.

The technician that was replacing my windshield had terrible phone skills (would hang up when *he* was done talking, regardless if I was still saying anything or not). He was done a little too quickly for my comfort (about 45 minutes) and left all of the debris all over my front seats, dashboard and floor. I hope it is sealed properly and stands up to the tests of time. I had to brush off my seat just so that I could sit in it and drive home, and in doing so I actually found a small piece of glass and cut my finger. He also left his USED water bottle in my car! It's disappointing that he took no pride in returning my car to me in the state of cleanliness it was received in, especially since one of the steps in their timeline says that they are making sure the inside of the car is free of glass and debris. I'm also hoping the suction cup and tape marks that show up with every windshield wiper pass and with condensation disappear quickly.it's annoying, especially since one is directly in front of me when I'm driving. I would expect better follow through from a company that seems to have such a good reputation. I've already submitted this same complaint via the contact us on the website, but wanted to share my experience to any potential future customers. I hope my experience is not one encountered frequently.

Absolute garbage. I scheduled a windshield replacement and when I finally was able to get in I dropped off my car only to be called and have them tell me they had "the wrong part" not that anyone actually went out to my car or took it in (I have a tesla and can see the key card left with them was never used). Reschedule and 2 weeks later they cancel right before saying it never came in, I've never heard from them since. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Worst experience. They kept rescheduling my appointment and eventually just stopped scheduling it. They won’t return my messages. It’s been several weeks. I’m going with another company that’s not completely incompetent.

When I call it never let's me speak to a real person, just automated responses that don't even apply to my situation then it refers me to online selections that still do not answer my questions. WHY CAN'T I SPEAK TO A REAL PERSON!

I scheduled my appointment online and accidentally dropped my car off a week too early. The team at this location was super professional, friendly, and managed to fit me in early. This is my second replacement with Safelite and I will continue to bring my business here!

I had this location come to my home to replace a windshield in my truck. The technician stole a pair of prescription Maui Jim sunglasses that were sitting on the console. I spoke with the manager about it. She said she would talk with the technician and call me back. She never called back. I went to the store and she was there, but refused to come talk with me. I left my business card and asked for her to call me. She has not called.

My appointment was scheduled at 8am—straightforward windshield replacement. I was told the repair would take 2hour, so I waited. It is now over 4 hours and it’s still not done. Numerous individuals waiting have also expressed frustration with wait times and lack of clear communication. I don’t recommend the Beaverton Safelite repair shop if you are a busy person.
