Safeway, Lake Oswego OR

The store itself is fine. I have shopped there for 2 years. The management doesn't seem too concerned with the health of seniors or veterans. Gov. Browns' Covid-19 mask edict is fully enforced in leau of complications due to COPD. I cannot breath with a mask and, apparently, Safeway has no interest in bucking Gov. Browns' orders because small business competitors may steal some of their money.

Would love to hear that your employees liked to work for your company! Nobody I've ever talked too liked working for safeway! SAD!

Too busy for staff and social distancing to be Covid19 friendly. I'll just go to Albertsons from now on dish the street.

Whoever was working customer service 7/29/20 at 5: 45pm should not work there if they cannot provide good customer service. I could hear she was frustrated with someone on the phone but she had to take it out on me even when I was patiently waiting. I'm not sure why I always get treated bad at this location.

My options here are great. The staff is courteous, friendly and helpful. Great products with great prices.

They have the best products you can wish to get. The stacks are well organized and very welcoming. Staff is friendly. Highly recommended!

Glad they are open late! Have to have creamer for coffee in the morning! The night clerk was a blast! She's very helpful and wonderfully enriched with joy! I forget her name, she knew where everything I needed was! Such a helpful person! Im glad Safeway is open later then target! Good savings to!

Try to avoid due to the extra high prices here in Washougal! Unfortunately they are the only real grocery store in Washougal! Can't avoid them all the time, since we have to eat sometime. Can't drive to better priced stores further away from Washougal all the time when we just need a couple of items.

What can I say. I was a loyal customer and since the merger this place has gone down hill.the last time I checked out something was put in the bag. When I called about this the manager was rude and cited a dignity policy and hung up on me when I asked for an apology since I had to come back to the store and nothing could be done over the phone. The last straw!

When I have a bunch of high value coupons that I won't use before they expire, I like to pay it forward by spending the time to place them on the product, suprise $3 off your mascara! But noooo it's against Safeway policy I'm told. WHAT? ! I want to give people a suprise to make them happy, it costs Safeway nothing.
Oh also includes the monopoly coupons which they put out.
I call for a policy change.

To be honest, I'm not a fan of Safeway, I prefer Winco, prices are lower and a much larger selection.

Unfortunately bad experience here service is rare and rushed you can tell management cares to much about wage costs rather than customer service the deli is extremely under staffed and the service is rushed. I tried coming here on my lunch and the long wait cost me to be late took 35 min to order one burrito

Always buy my fresh spinach and frozen fruit there for my smoothies the prices are much cheaper than fredmeyers and you get more for your money!

An older location, but they've done a good job of keeping it updated and getting it into order to match the remainder of their locations. A bit sparse with employees, but usually a quick in and out here and that's always a good thing.

Prices are to high, the lines are to long, you have to wait along time if you want anything from the deli.

There is not much to not like about this store. Good selections for the most part, prices are a little high if you don't have a club card. I really like the Asian food they have that is like panda express but cheaper and not as large of a selection but still good!

This review is for the Starbucks inside safeway.

The ladies working here when I showed up at 2pm on 2/14/19 were above, and beyond, and patient (as I had no idea what kind of drink to get since I never go to starbucks.) They were helpful with suggestions, and personable! I will definirely come back!

The sweet and sour chicken, tso chicken, sesame chicken orange peel chicken very greasy, very little chicken with a thick soggy crust and flavored high corn fructose syrup. Their food presentation is excellent but the taste and the afterward feeling is not describeale! Yuck!

Great customer service that promptly helped find the items I needed and restocked shelves of items that I desired on the spot!

I love Safeway specially for the holidays they have a great selection of stuff for the holiday and the cashier is there are very very nice
