Grocery Store Safeway reviews
14While being more expensive than the stores in Eugene, it's so much faster to get to the bridges & sideroads!
Diesel pumps out of service "for days" according to attendant. Should have blanked out the Diesel prices or covered sign. Drove Back 20 miles round trip to get skunked. Lost fuel credits was saving for this purchase. Stuff happens, but don't advertise prices if you can't sell. Fuel site has diesel prices posted, but the product is NA.
Bakery staff acted as if I was a nuisance, as did customer service staff. Apparently Safeway bakery doesn't sell cakes, if it means they have to grab it from the display case. Will not be going back.
Public restroom is in the back room where all the stock is located, thought I would be put to work, lol. It was dirty and kinda ghetto. But extremely thankful there WAS a facility to use. The fresh Chinese food in the deli looked delicious, maybe next time I'll get some.
Too long of a wait in line just to have to wait additional time to get word from the doctor's office.
Prices can be a bit high unless you use the app and wait for the sales. Love their store brand products because it is usually just as good or better than the name brand.
This is a pretty good store the staff there is nice I especially like the guys behind the meat counter. They’re always friendly and helpful. So are the girls at the self check out.
Lacking many standard items.long lines because of not many checkers working expensive but it's the only large grocery store that's local to Junction City Oregon
The manager does not care enough about CDC guidelines. Managment blames upper management for not endorsing common deceny and respect. Masks are not enforced. Social distancing isnt upheld. This store is a joke of a buisness owned by a greedy people that only pays half a living wage because the union makes them. Shop and work anywhere else. Most workers hate it there and it shows. Safeway in JC is the perfect encompassment of a buisness that lacks leadership. Some amazing workers in there though.
This store has the stock of a 7-11. Not all that's offered at other Safeways is on the shelves here. Sale items are gone two days after the sale starts and are not restocked.
Its dirty, the employees are rude and entitled. Thank god its not far to Eugene for my eating pleasure and wallet health
The gas station is a joke. It's like the very slowest group of employees I've ever experienced as fuel attendants. Seriously I was one of two vehicles there and it must have taken the worker ten minutes to get to me because he was in deep conversation with the other customer. And it's like that all the time. So only stop there if you have nothing better to do than waste time.
Pharmacy is understaffed and it's been long lines, prescriptions not ready in a timely manner and now I was told they need 3 days to fill a refill. I'm switching my parents to Walgreens.
It's a safeway. They don't charge for cash back and they let you get random amounts ($4, $17,26$ etc) instead of multiples of 20, and I like that
The ladies that work in the deli are so rude. They probably hate their job and their lives. Safeway should pay them more.
