Grocery Store Safeway reviews
45Always a great place to shop, as long as your not black and have tattoos lil. They will think your stealing everything.
Update: I know everyone is mad about the new layout, but it has made the store so much easier to maneuver and makes way more sense. It took guts to do it given the average clientele, but it’s totally worth it.
Had to wait at customer service while they kept announcing customer need help at customer service waste of time will after 15 mon person finally show up to help me
Needs a self check line. I only shop here as a last resort because it takes forever to check out. In dire need of a serious remodel!
Although overall a great store, the employees can be very rushed and overworked, which doesn't always make for a friendly experience.
This particular Safeway store is great. Their produce has a wide selection, they have a good bakery, I love the pharmacists and the technicians, and they also have a Starbucks here. The checkers always have a smile on their faces, and you don’t have to wait long.
Comments about long checkout lineups are becoming a more consistent experience. They called for threes a crowd after the two lines both had 7-10 people. No one came. Very odd since they had plenty of people in the store stoking shelves.
Good food, but way too crowded; slow to have enough cashier's. I have to tell florist person to call for more help up front. A customer should not have to do this. Manager needs to be proactive, not reactive to this situation.
Sherwood Safeway is brutal to shop at. Never enough check stands open for the one grocery store in Sherwood. Ditch Starbucks and put in some self check lanes.
I have gone to Safeway for years. I have always had a great experience going here. Everyone is so helpful.
Place is well taken care of and people go above and beyond to help. They have samples out along with cheeses and things like that during the holidays. Coupons in the mail as well, like if u spend 75 bucks there's a10 buck coupon off.
The people stocking shelf's are great! Especially the lady doing the potato chips, great sense of humor looking forward to to my next shopping adventure.
Nice store. Friendly staff. My only real complaint would be slow check out times due to too few cashiers/lanes open. As of late however, they seem to be doing better.
Their delivery system it's awesome! Always on time and you can leave specific instructions about the products you want. I do this mainly for my fruits and vegetables and they are really good at following those instructions.
Always pretty busy. Was a bit frustrated when I was looking for horseradish and the employee sent us on a wild goose chase.
The chicken strips we got from the deli were small dry and almost inedible but they gave us a full refund
Clean store. Good service. Bright. Fully stocked. Wide aisles. Too expensive to use for weekly groceries. We use them for convenience only.
Safeway is a wonderful store to shop at but the Safeway in King City Oregon is it terrible Safeway for senior citizens they make 90% of their customers who senior citizens wait in long lines and many have health problems and the store just doesn't care Safeway managers need to look at their customers that support the store and work with them on as an individual and not worry so much about the bottom line the health of the senior citizens in King City matters a lot but not to Safeway
This use to be one of my favorite stores but the prices have jumped and the options are basic. Not overly impressed but it is conveniently located.
The general manager is a total gentleman! He knows his customers by first name and his staff is very good at correcting any error from previous visits. I had a disagreement with one of the checkers and the next time I came in, after reporting my complaint to the manager, she was completely nice and corrected her demeanor from the previous visit.
This is how it should be at every place.
