Grocery Store Safeway reviews
14Great Safeway, clean, well stocked for the most part, Ted is a great cashier, deserves a raise.
Hard to find things but they almost always have i come for. Employees are nice and help you to the max, which is awesome. I would recommend this Safeway to anyone in salem keizer area.
How the staff and everyone treats others is downright foul and unbelievable.
I’ve had multiple issues concerning staff, pharmacy staff and everything in between.
I can’t begin to understand how they talk to customers. I won’t be returning.
I love Safeway compared to the other grocery stores that we have available. Their produce is always fresh. The employees are happy, they just seem like they enjoy their jobs more and I have a good shopping experience at Safeway unlike a lot of the other grocery stores where I feel like I'm cattle being herded through and rushed right out the door. I also like the pastries and bakery at Safeway it seem to have one of the better ones in town. I recommend Safeway over any other grocery store I've been to here
I usually love Safeway but when I have an emergency and they say that they are open at 6 a.m. And they don't open their doors till 3 minutes after. They should open the doors at the time they're supposed to on their website
This is very local very easy to travel to do shopping when you don't have a car to drive to get there but it's nice and easy smooth nice location!
Sadly it isn't as nice as it once was. It isn't as clean, either. So if you need to go and grab a forgotten ingredient, it's OK. I use to shop it alot. Be prepared for a longer checkout time too. Unfortunately the new cashiers aren't pleasant either. So it's just OK.
They let a guy gut in line at the deli and it ruined my night fortunate I am to have had anger management in my past or that rude guy would have left with a black eye or worse
It's a cheap Chinese restaurant I've been eating eat since I was a teen. I wouldn't recommend if you are sensitive to grease, it's good food but deep fried.
I would give you guys more stars but I don't find that your cashier's should be gossiping to the other person their working with, about their customers as they are leaving the cashier and in ear shot. I looked directly back at them so it's not like they didn't know I could hear them, I was hoping it would get the message across but apparently not. Is this the kind of customer service we are to expect from your cashier's? I come in each month and am a regular costumer, and I expect respectful cashier's not cashier's who act unprofessional on their shift. Gossiping can wait until their on their own time, not at work.
I try not to shop here much because of the high prices compared to other grocery stores in the area but it is in a convenient location. There is a very nice lady at the pharmacy (I don't know her name but she has a big braid in her hair) that always says hi to the kids and gives them stickers.
I just received 5 star customer service from Yan, who was stocking shelves and not necessarily a front end employee, but he went out of the way when I needed one more 24 ok Arrowhead water to get the $$ deal. And Melissa was very friendly and fun to chat with during check-out while being swift at the same time. There were a lot of shelves empty of product but they seemed be working hard to get them filled. Store was clean.
Good always has been for the 15 yrs I've been going there. Ty Safeway, although the prices are too high so use coupons. Lol
The neighborhood meeting spot, where friends and family shop for local sourced foods at good prices.
