Grocery Store Safeway reviews
15Went for vaccine, drop ins accepted according to the vaccines.gov website directing to this location. Once there, two pharmacists decided they did not want to give me a booster shot. They have to want to do it before you will get a shot as a walk-in; they feel no obligation. Make an appointment or better yet don't go to Safeway for anything.
Love the store in Astoria. Exceptional staff, very friendly and fun. Clean, well stocked, great choices.
Love this store and the assistant manager Patrick Smith is amazing I was having issues with my new debit card and he was so patient and went above and beyond to help me get the groceries I needed for my autistic son. He is amazing as is all the staff love this store and highly recommend shopping here. Its the only place I go for my groceries.
The staff were friendly but the prices were mixed up, good deals but very hard to find the right deals
Good place to shop and even though the pharmacy line is always long the pharmacy employees are awsome!
Clean store, plenty of parking, helpful employees. Listen to the sea lions while you have your lunch. Shelves get pretty empty at times but the employees do their very best to find you what you need.
Clean and spacious store. Great butcher in meat department, helpful and attentive. Large selection of foods, deli, gas, coffee. Vegetable department clean with great variety.
Delli Counter Needs A little More Experience, & No Napkins!
So they Tore Off Some Paper Towels instead...
It's a friendly place, the employees are happy to help if you ask. Deli is full of nice people who are very sweet, cashiers are kind and friendly.
I'm addicted to the Sunday Oregonian. Go in to pick one up and other items need at the time like under arm deodorant.
Our everyday grocery store living on the eastside of Astoria. The clerks there are our favorites and if you want to talk movies, new and old, Elizabeth is a wiz.
I enjoy shopping here cashiers are nice and helpful my only beef is finding certain items at times.
I hate to say this, but usually the cashiers are very pleasant. Today the cashier I had was very impatient and unpleasant as well. Almost makes me rethink my hour round trip for groceries
I remember Safeway back in the early 60s cedar hills in SW PORTLAND, also Safeway in Astoria Oregon in the early 80sI miss Safeway on Duane Street between 12 St and 13 St it was easier to get to the store when I lived close by
Despite the fact that the State of Oregon has mandated that people must wear masks in all public inside spaces, there were people without masks in the store with whom checkers were conversing and laughing-but not asking to put one on. When I questioned the checker, she told me that the store leadership has told them that they cannot ask customers to put on masks. Not sure that I believe that, but one way or another, this location is in violation of the law.
