Safeway, Sandy OR

I use the Sandy Safeway Pharmacy when needed. The two RPh, pharmacists are fabulous & have been there for years. Jody, the Pharm Tech, is patient & professional.
Produce at Safeway generally beats Fred Meyers in quality. No comparison to New Seasons my first choice, but NS is a 22min drive vs 5min to Safeway. (So a good option)

Horrible employees. I needed help and was brushed off by 3 employees before someone was kind enough to help and knew what to do.

I like this store and I like the convenience of going here for groceries. There is a section of premade meals near the entrance that I've been trying recently that only need minimal work to turn into a meal for two to three people. I work a lot because I own my own company and have to pull long hours. Some times when I come in the store after work, I am filthy from working and my clothes are not exactly clean because I don't feel like driving home and going back into town to go grocery shopping. I get treated like a vagrant unless I'm in my street clothes. Employees avoid eye contact with me and watch while I'm shopping, as if I'm going to shoplift.

Really disappointed. There were items on sale with a coupon and of course the product wasn't in stock. All other sizes were there but not that particular one.

Great customer service, great selection of produce, very fresh. Not very busy at all for a Wednesday night. Also very clean and great appearance.

Great shopping experience. Cashier was friendly (Linda) and helpful. Young man who helped me load my groceries was exceptional. I needed a cart to ride around in store and shop and he brought one out to car and help me get seated.
I may change my loyalty from Fred's to Sandy Safeway. Thank you so much.

It's a Safeway, same as 2.3 million other Safeway/ jewel/ osco/ save on/ Albertsons out there, but this is a friendlier Safeway! ️. They even bring in special requests if you ask them to! Good place to stop on your way up to Mt. Hood.

Im not real happy with the phone app i wish things would be the way they used to be good ole coupons you cut out of the paper.

I like stopping here on the way.
Park on the east. I didn't stay overnight.
They have good fruit and veggies.
No trout is stocked. I guess the people catch their own.

Only 2 cashier's and crazy long lines. Seemed to be several other associates working but we're not cashier's apparently.

Great store clean a great environment worker they are always willing to help

We always get our fried chicken from here and today for the first time the chicken not only was burnt but wasnt good as they always is

I went inside to get a Roblox card for my young sister and the lady assisting me had a very rude demeanor And was very impatient, will probably not be coming back any time soon.

Decided to get some chicken at the Deli. Asked for an 8 piece White and Dark. It seems that is hard to comprehend for them. You have to say the word mixed for them to understand. So after a few minutes of getting that clear I was informed by getting mixed I would not get it at their special $5.99 price. I let them know that cost did not matter. "Finally" I was given my 8 piece. When I arrived home and opened the bag I was in awe to find 4 Legs 3 Thighs and 1 Breast. Simply amazing and oh yes I almost forgot the girl helping me if you can call it helping was rude and dirty/sloppy in appearance. Good job Safeway Sandy, Oregon

Got my Covid shot from the pharmacy this morning, and waited out my fifteen minute stay with a snack over in the coffee area. Can't beat that!

I requested a cake for Transgender Day of Remembrance so I could celebrate with my coworkers. They have been instrumental in the course of my healing and rebirth into my body the last four years. I worked with the cake decorator explaining my thought for the design. It turned out amazing. I do work at this store, so I hold a bias in that it has been my second home for the last eight years. But I was asked to leave a review and this happens to be the most gracious thing that anyone outside my wife and son has done for me in some time. Thanks for reading my comment. We all deserve to choose to express ourselves in whatever way possible to be happy in life when our first childhood is not as carefully listened to as the notes we keep for safe keeping and a rainy day where we relive the experiences in our heads. Creating more damage to our psyche than anything we could do to our body.

It's a grocery store. Pretty much the same as all big box stores. Identical stuff and identical service.

People are friendly and helpful. The lines move pretty quick. A lot faster than any other Safeway I have been to in a while.

No mask enforcement.saw several shoppers, mostly male, blatantly defying the mask requirement, almost like they were looking to have a confrontation.
So no, don't feel safe at this Safeway, and won't be coming back anytime soon.

Clean and employees are nice I wish all stores would quit moving there stuff around I know they are trying to improve our shopping experience but when your in a hurry and you thought you knew were things were frustrating
