Grocery Store Safeway reviews
17Very friendly store, with lots of options to choose from. Deli has plenty of lunch options to choose from.
The staff is friendly and the food is well stocked with good produce and the jot food is good especially the jobo's.would recommend
Many items completely out of stock. Some of the workers are friendly so they get a star for that.
Great meat and produce. Was not so pleased with the first grocery pick up order I did. My order was not done on time and I had a hard time figuring out how to check in when I arrived there.
Bakery lady was very kind today and gave my granddaughter a cookie that she loved!
Worst experience with a bakery I've ever had. We needed a regular sized cake for our 3 year old daughter's birthday. We ended up paying $71.00 for a full sized sheet cake upon pickup, because the employee couldn't tell us anything about the prices or the sizes of the cakes and how many people each one feeds, during the ordering process. Now it's too late to get it fixed as the party is today and we just got completely ripped off. Very upset with the customer service. For future reference for anyone wanting to use this bakery, just don't. And if you do, since they don't even know the sizes and prices of their own cakes, the full size is a full size sheet cake that feeds 71 people for $71.00. Why anyone would think someone would want that for a 3 year olds birthday party is beyond me. It's their job to know this information. Beyond disappointment and frustrated and do not recommend this bakery AT ALL for any event.
Store had many open shelves.
Worst part, there were NO cashiers. Why don't we get a discount for scanning and bagging our own groceries?
We pay full price to help pay for employees, yet not even a supervisor stepped up to ring customers out
That's the last time I use Cottage Grove Safeway, they have lost my business.
I help the smaller guys, Grocery Outlet has the majority of my business.
Everytime I come to this Safeways the deli is closing as early as 4 pm.
Update 530 on Friday all asian food is gone or EXTREMELY old. Have to stop driving into town for this store
Well, since I was visiting the deli I'll just review that. Bad deli day. We won't be coming by here for food again. Their "chow mein" was spaghetti noodles with very few veggies tossed in, tasted like no sauce. VERY dry. The wait was long and the sandwich side was busy making what seemed like a big order so said I couldn't order. Very disappointing visit.
Safeway is a good store and it has a Wells Fargo ATM which is the only one in town I have found.
Prepackaged lunch meat was rotten again. Don't bother buying there watermelons, 3rd bad one in a row.
The bread was very good but the sponge cake tasted nasty, that's also getting thrown out.
The t-bone was very good as was the tomatoes
For the most part, every associate greets you and are kind. I appreciate that very much. The cashiers handle themselves professionally.
I always go to the Coos Bay Safeway versus the North Bend one. People are super friendly and the pharmacy isn't in the back of the store
Went to use the water machine outside the store. Got inundate with with cigarette smoke as people came out to smoke just outside the doors. Not a nice experience, trying to get clean water and can't even get clean air.
If you need a supermarket, Safeway is great.
If you need a pharmacy McCoy's on East Street is the way to go.
I like our local Safeway. They have a nice produce section, which is my favorite part of the store.
I saw a syringe in the mens bathroom. It made me feel very uncomfortable. There’s so many diseases that can potentially be passed around. The staff needs to step it up. Also very rude staff at the customer service desk. They sit and gossip like high schoolers. You’ve lost a longtime member
