Grocery Store Safeway reviews
16I love working there and I have too say the store manager is all about providing the best customer service. She pushes really hard too make everyone happy.
Quiet, clean, staff doesn't bug you. This place only has three self check out registers in a row with a row of product right next to it makes it kinda awkward and hard to navigate around people to the other registers.
Shopping here is normally fine but I want to report some misleading signage. I noticed these mini cheesecakes on shelves marked gluten free and no sugar added respectively, and while that brand does make GF and no sugar options, none were in stock. The cheesecakes on that display all contained wheat and sugar. If someone had read this sign and not the ingredients on the individual package, they could get very sick. Please remove the signage, because chronically ill people shouldn't have to be as wary as I am about checking every label.
Update: The last couple times I've been to Safeway I haven't had to deal with a broken down cart, they have been trying to improve that situation. Seems like every single shopping cart has a messed up wheel.
Worst customer service at this safeway than any safeway i have been to! DO NOG RECOMMENDED
Friendly staff, one of the best pharmacist and Pharmacies I have found in my 64 years. I've never known them to be anything but forthright an honest.
I read a review by some guy named Jordan and I can't imagine that could be accurate or what he was talking about because nobody there would say something rude, or anything else like what he reported. It's busy there sometimes there may be a wait, but they're never rude.
The 3rd Street store is old and small, but has necessities when in a hurry. The only negative is there is only one cash register open, so don't fill your cart! They do have 4 self check out registers, but I don't get paid to ring up and bag a large order.
What I love about Safeway is that all the stores carry the same products! I enjoy knowing that information.
Always my go to places getting groceries.
Their freshly baked muffins are good too, worth trying Safeway bakery!
Employee literally followed me around saying "Safeway is a safe place" the whole time. Extremely unprofessional! Will Never go here again
Decent stop if you need some quick groceries, but it's small and outdated for a big weekly shop or the like. The larger stores have a lot more to offer. I give it 4 stars because of the convenience.
It's in a prime location and pretty friendly and helpful staff. A bit pricey. But all Safeways are. Still great deli and meat selection!
The staff and clerks are rude there anymore and I do not find it a pleasure to shop at that store So I will not be shopping there anymore
This is by far the most awful pharmacy I have ever been to. I was a stranger to the area and had lost my Lexapro. I had been out for 7 days. I told them it was an emergency and they told me they sent a transfer request to my pharmacy at home. After a few hours they said they had sent two more requests and even called. After waiting for 4 hours I called my home town pharmacy to find out the Safeway pharmacy in Corvallis had lied to me. There were no attempts to transfer my refills. My hometown pharmacy (the Pullman Washington Walmart) said they would be happy to transfer my refills over the phone and that they would be waiting for the call. When I asked the pharmacist at the Safeway for assistance, she snarled at me that she would get to it when she could. I explained I had been waiting for hours, and that my pharmacy was waiting for them to call. I got a rude comment in reply, and decided to find another pharmacy. They also made comments about a "crazy customer" which I believe was referring to me. What a disaster, I would never use this Safeway again.
You need to check frequently on products expiration dates I bought a wrap last week got sick.and today I bought a veggie tray I discovered it was 4 days old.please pay attention.
