Safeway, Salem OR

I've been getting the same lunch from the deli 2 or 3 times a week. Now they say they can't sell it me anymore. Garbage. Diamond is great but everyone else is terrible.

Best place out west but the pharmacy is way to busy for such a little place. I wish they would rebuild this store like the deep south one

Great gas prices. Convenient Starbucks pick up. Store is clean and carries some fantastic quality meat! Coffee k cups are $20 for 80, best price I could find.

Self check out is the worst the machines are alot harder then any other self check out machines in any other store

Nice friendly cashier helped me with my early morning shopping usually people are not that friendly at 6am but she was.

Not my favorite place to shop but have no choice cuz my Pharmacy is there and it I end up buying food when I don't need to. That Checkers are very polite and helpful but there is a lot of things I want that I can't find there

Always decently clean and for the most part, friendly helpful staff! The Pharmacy Staff are always friendly, welcoming, helpful, and all around nice employee's and I appreciate that because it's not my favorite place to go as is. This is a great Safeway to visit.

Worst Safeway I've ever been to. If you get here after 9pm, prepare to wait in line for 15+ minutes because they only ever have one checker. No self check out either. You are better off going to a store further away because you'll save time.

Cashier's are so courteous and efficient. I also love the sales with my club card

Stoped in to buy some coffee drink, went to Express checkout and the young lady was cashing out a woman with 50+ or so bottles of Gatorade. When told what the price was lady was arguing it was too much. Checker had to explain about bottle deposits. I left my coffee drink as anyone could tell this was going to take awhile. Will only shop at Safeway when I have lots of time.

Store is overall nice, like most Safeway. However, the smell of fish in the fish department is strong, time to clean. Fresh fish isn't suppose to smell.

I usually stop by Safeway to pick up small items, and occasionally purchase a monthly buss pass.

One of my favorite Safeway! The staff is fantastic, store is Always clean, deli is awesome

the past year I feel the store has gone downhill a lot, lots of waiting in line now, the store isn't as clean or organized, I never seem to find anybody in the bakery, just an average Safeway now nothing special

Deli was out of soup spoons and the staff couldn't care less about it and told me there were forks and knifes available for the soup. Wow!

A lot of good deals on the app. Otherwise, mid-range prices. Missing some brands I'm used to getting at other stores.

Shopping for dinner end of the day everything lined out beautifully there were a lot of people there but they were all moving through well cashier was quick and accurate back to my parking space 20 minutes took longer to prep dinner I'll be back again starting tomorrow

Never enough checkers, always long lines! Really needs self checkout. Some cashiers are horribly, painfully slow.

Safeway has always been at the top of the grocery stores in the region, every one I've been in for as long as I can remember, which is about 30yrs, has been great. Especially the Meat and Produce. Top notch.

I’m a Safeway shopper and have been for years.love the quality products but can’t stand the cashiers.they’re all over worked, seem overwhelmed and their deli starts closing wayyyy too early. The meat dept guys are amazing and really know their stuff, but again, the lines are so long when it’s time to check out.get with the program Safeway.higher more cashiers!
