Safeway, Salem OR

Not my favorite grocery store (I can never find what I'm looking for) but I will forever be grateful for being able to get the Covid vaccinations there.

Pharmacy is great also awesome fresh seafood meat and fruit n veggies awesome English muffin bread

From a clean store to the beautiful produce and outstanding customer service this Safeway is by far the nicest. I’d shop this store all the time if I lived closer.

Safeway what can you say it's consistent you're pretty much going to get the same thing no matter what Safeway you go to if you're after a few specific items or you're after stuff on sale or you just have a craving for something and you want it to be a little above average in quality go to Safeway if you're looking to do your regular shopping personally go to Costco or go to WinCo there you go

Review is centered on the pharmacy. Knowledgeable staff but incredibly slow; I had to wait an hour (till 6pm) to pick up a prescription (called in at noon) that would reportedly be available by 5pm, and while waiting in line I saw multiple people have to wait 2-3 hours each. I don't know if they're severely understaffed or the software they use needs a speed boost, but seriously disappointing.

They have $5 friday. Thats always a plus when on a budget. There are some great deals. Its a nice safeway. Things are easy to find if not the customer service are prompt.

I dont shop here often but when I do I feel like I am getting a good value for my money. I only 4 star because they dont have much variety and they are still a bit expensive. Also, they stopped carrying my favorite bolthouse flavor, watermelon mint lemonade.

Kinda gross seeing homeless people reach in a touch the donuts and then just eat them without paying

My pineapple was very woody. Someone may want to check all of the hard inside is removed prior to putting in bowls.

Wow! I really enjoyed going into this store. Everyone (staff wise) are super nice and helpful. Store was quite busy while I was inside. Amazing to find out that I didn't need a code to unlock the restroom. Great job everyone, I am sure that I will be back when I am in the area!

Usually this store is a fantastically well supplied store. Today's visit was not especially in the deli department. There were very few items in the cases and virtually NO salads from which to choose. I am hoping that this was just a fluke with staffing issues. I will return and if i see these same issues, there are always other markets I will go to.

I haven't been here very often but the meat department had the smell of old meat. It made me feel it wasn't being cleaned like it should be. Otherwise the rest of the store was clean and stocked well.

Safeway use to be my go to fried chicken dinner as of late the quality has really gone downhill over cooked. Small peices and counter help that cant count to 8 or tell the difference from a thigh and a breast. Shame on you management

I like the sale prices and mainly go for meat when they have the $10 off $50. Prices are generally high but they have great sales.

Safeway is always the most expensive grocery store. Just get what you need and get out, too expensive to get everything you need.

Unfriendly staff. Checker forgot to give me the $60 I was supposed to get then told me it was my fault even though she turned completely away from me.

Safeway is always a good fallback, as long as you watch the prices but, with their just for you rewards you can get super deals

Great for a quick in and out trip. Loving the fresh produce that is always available. Store is always clean and items are always easy to find. Lines are never long and staff are always happy to help.n

Not happy with Safeway lately. Their digital coupons show a sale price most items wont scan into the app. When you bring to register and show they wont scan in most will honor the price but one named Rod is a real jerk about it. They frequently run out of sale items. The deli chicken used to be good now it is so overcooked it isnt edible.

I like the fact that other shoppers are as courteous as the employees. Being carnival trash, I always have to be fair (lol) to everyones needs while operating rides. I love when people act right even when they're not required to do so. It lets me know others "get it, " too! #Oakland2020
