Salem Community Markets reviews
19Wonderful place to shop for fresh fruits and veggies! All source of additional items to purchase! Love this place! Nice vendors too!
I've been coming to the Saturday Market here for years. It is coming back after Covid slow down. I hope more food vendors will be coming. I don't know what they have to pay to be there. Food is a tough business.
We had a great experience at this Saturday Market in downtown Salem. All of the vendors were super friendly and knowledgeable about their products. There was a wide variety to check out and we had a lot of fun. They also have some food carts and the fresh sqeezed juice stand was delicious. We took home some fresh foods, flowers and a few cool treasures as well.
This is a place you must go if you haven't been there yet! I love getting fresh milk and eggs! There is definitely something for everyone! Great selection of items to treat yourself or give as unique gifts.
I was able to find the Raspberries that I was hoping to find and Marionberries! They have a great selection of fresh fruits, Honey's, snacks, flowers. All kinds of things that people have made. I highly recommend going and giving it a walk through. They even have a food court if you just want to grab some food after looking.
Great family weekend adventure. Do not forget your sunscreen and water! So many great vendors to choose from. We came home with fresh fruit, baked goods, veggies and more!
Friendly folks, fresh produce, fresh baked goods, well made crafts and good food! What more could you ask for on a beautiful Saturday!
One of my favorite outings, especially for fruit that actually taste like something. Enjoyed a bath bomb from there for the first time ever; my wife is one smart lady.
Highly recommend if you are around in Salem! Came to the Saturday market, lots of fresh produce from farms (vege, fruits, meat), flowers, wineries / distilleries, honey, handcrafted items incl accessories, wood products, soap and lotion etc. Love the variety, and the setup was great as well - broad walkway and enough space between vendors for social distancing. Also some food and drink vendors. Support local products!
Looking forward to the fresh produce. However.they do have some very nice plants if you want to grow your own. Don't go if you're broke or on a budget. SO many pretty/cool/useful things. Great place to go for lunch. Of course, the prices are stupidly inflated sometimes. Six bucks for a strawberry lemonade. It WAS very tasty though. Quite a few dogs there which I think is fun and it's nice that they allow them.
So many vendors (fruit, veggies, flowers, soap, candles, crafts, baked goods), so many doggos, what more could you ask for!
So nice to be out and about, the market is the perfect location! Lots of vendors, food, crafts and plants. Dog friendly!
Great vendors. Hate the maze, just let us wander through, one way aisle are stupid. Would be awesome to ditch the masks.
Pretty solid Saturday/farmer's market. Great selection of local produce and locally made products. Especially Flying Bee Ranch honey and Two Sisters Bakery just to name a few. The food court isn't bad and seems to be improving. Usually some decent high school-college aged buskers. Always multiple trips throughout the season.
I absolutely love the Saturday market! All of the fresh veggies and fruits. Yummy! These are flowers that we got from there.
Love this market. Fresh products from local farmers, a few crafts, music and food.how can you go wrong? The fresh flowers are notably beautiful and inexpensive. Just wish they had room to expand!
The variety of crafts, veggies, flowers and eats is great. Certainly a highlight is the glass peices of #Glassartoregon.
Wonderful experience! Lots of great handmade crafts, fresh fruits, veggies, & the best home-farmed coffee! (Barry Strong) Merchant's take cash or plastic. Very organized with the most delightful people. Masks required, portable pottys and hand wash sinks available on site. Our furry friends are invited on leash. Open from 9 am to 1 pm. Free admission. I bought a beef torta for lunch and it was delicious made by Veronica at the Casa DE Taco. Check out my photos there is something for everybody to enjoy. Next time I'll have my fortune told!
The Saturday Market is always great. I was there the first weekend they opened and today when I went there was many many more vendors. More produce would be nice though. I know with Covid the food area is different, I do feel like there still is a way to pull out tables so we can enjoy the treats we buy at the farmers market. Last word is. Love it Love it Love it
