The guys that came out and installed my furnace did a very good job. I also noticed when I received my energy bill, It was running a lot less than it was before.

Mike and O'shey were on time per schedule. They were very professional with excellent craftsmanship. Work was completed on time.

Scott Lineburger ensured his team (great job Jeremiah Ramirez and Jinu Kim!) was responsive to our need and was able to come install a brand new furnace in a very quick timeframe while it was still cold at the end of April 2022. We never felt pressured to purchase a furnace that was beyond our present means, and were able to have a quality furnace installed that was on the lower end of the price spectrum. We had a family friend who has been in HVAC for 40 years let us know that the deal we got was a good one, and we have had no issues with the furnace since installation. Got our 10-year parts warranty registered too. Seems like a solid business.

So much so, in fact, that we went with them again in June 2023 to install our Central A/C! We again had Jeremiah come install, along with O'Shey, and they both did a great job. Again, we were told by multiple personal contacts in HVAC that we got a good deal on this install.

This is the second time I have had Salem Heating & Sheet Metal install a central AC (one about 6 years ago). I would recommend them to anyone and the price was fair!
I had a quote from another guy from Portland who wanted almost twice as much to install the same unit (I knew his price was outrageous, even if it was though Costco), that’s why I called Salem Heating & SM. I remembered feeling good with my experience the last time.

Andrew and O’shey were great during the instal. We had Scott for the quote and Ed came to take measurements. They were on time, friendly and professional. They reviewed all the work and with us when done.
The whole process was smooth and communication/scheduling was straightforward.

Had the folks at Salem Heating and Sheet Metal bid and ultimately install a replacement central AC unit. Not only was their bid / quote significantly less money.they took the time to explain my options in some detail. Had the pleasure of having Mike and Justin come out today and complete the install. Both of them were very courteous and punctual.completing the job in less time than expected.
Would wholeheartedly recommend the firm and the installers!

I've made several purchases from this company over the years. They are an excellent company to work with!

I have a small business that needed HVAC during a complete remodel. Steve was one of the only estimators I had quote me who took a genuine interest on how to design the best placement of the unit, placement of the ducting, and airflow effectiveness. It’s been installed for over a year and I could not be more happy with it, it’s not any Normas building and I had two 2 1/2 ton Lenix electric heat pumps installed one for the north side of the building and one for the south side of the building. It works beautiful and it turned out every bit as nice as we planned.

On another note, Martin who works in service helped me acquire an induction assembly for an old residential unit. I was about to have a different company sell me one for $X and wait three days for shipping. Martin put me on a brief hold and came back with one in his hand saying, “we had this in stock. ” The following day I ran down to their shop, too it home, and replaced it myself (far from being a pro). Bottom line… he saved me a ton of money! Thanks Salem Heating and Sheetmetal!

We had our furnace installed by Salem Heating & Sheet Metal almost 10 years ago, through Costco. Doing some recent HVAC work unrelated to the installation, we discovered a mistake in the installation - the cooling coils mounted too close to the furnace, which limits the air flow. Admittedly, the furnace installation manual is a bit confusing on this topic. I called to see if they would be willing to take a look, even though they are no longer a Costco partner, and if indeed it was not installed quite right, to fix it.and spoke to Bob Moore, the service manager. He and Ed Morris determined that it should have been installed with a spacer between the cooling coils and furnace, and then agreed to put one in, free of charge. It was no small job, either, it was 4+ hours of work, in addition to the trip to diagnose. I'm very impressed that they stand by their work, and would work with them in the future given this experience.
