Same Day Auto Service, Clackamas OR

Had my timing belt replaced along with spark plugs and a tire rotation on my Honda Pilot. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The timing belt is a big job and they had it done in a very timely manner. Along with giving me a ride home and a ride back to get my car. Overall a great experience and am planning to go back for future maintenance.

We had a 2014 Mazda inspected by these folks. Great service, quick turn around, everything that they said was spot on. Fair price. Would use them again

So happy to have an honest auto repair shop! We were told by an out-of-town shop that we needed an expensive repair, but Same Day Auto, so that was not so. We have been using them for years and have always found them to be trustworthy and fair.

Excellent service and nice people. They have helped me take care of my cars for almost 20 years!

BEWARE, we were forced to take my husband's truck in to this shop. After being charged $800.00 for a new alternator that may not have needed to be replaced, they call my husband and tell him it is still not holding a charge and they do not have the equipment to diagnose what the issue may be, so we will give you the paperwork of what we did and you can take it somewhere else. They did not offer any type of refund for the diagnostics or labor which would have been the least they could have done. Would not recommend this shop to anyone.

We had a 60K service and safety check on our Rav4. Service was efficient and courteous. Very pleased with how we were treated.

Courteous, professional service every time I go in. They don’t nickel and dime you; they truly just want to get you back on the road as quick as possible. Never any condescension. I have social issues and struggle to do things like get my car serviced because it’s usually stressful, and Same Day makes it so much easier. I recommend them to all my friends and family. Great code of ethics, too!

I've been using Same Day for over a decade ever since they gave me a great first impression with their professionalism and excellent customer service. They are my Gold standard for mechanics.

5 stars! (service, honesty, availability) They have fast service and are very honest. I went in thinking I needed new breaks. They could have easily just installed breaks and I would be no wiser, however they explained that my breaks were good, they could not duplicate the noise I had or the instability I was feeling while driving. They pointed out to me that I needed new tires instead, did not waist my time or money. I am a loyal customer for over 10 years.

I found Steven to b very accommodating, professional and thorough. He pointed out several issues in addition to the original problem but was not high pressure on the repairs needed.

We drive 10 miles and pass. I don't know 50? Other mechanics shops to come to Same Day. And will continue to as long as we live anywhere near there. 30 miles? They are honest, fast and well priced.

Side note, when Covid first hit and shut everything down, Steven called all of their customers to see if we needed anything. Or help with anything. Could they pick up our groceries.

Tell me any, just 1, business that put themselves out there for their customers? During a PANDEMIC!?

They replaced a $500 o2 sensor that was functioning properly when I actually had an exhaust leak. They in total charged me around $800 including labor and diagnosis and did not fix the problem. Took the car to another shop when the check engine light popped on again and they fixed it for $50 with a weld.
They were very polite and asked me how they could make the situation right, but that was just a lie since they don't actually have a thought of how they could make it right. I would have enjoyed a refund of the diagnosis, since I don't know what they did with the functioning part and I know I can't ask for the labor back.

I do not recommend this shop for this reason.

I have been using Same Day to service my Honda cars for over 30 years. When I first started using them the oil change was the draw, but it also kept me close the my service provider and this made it easy to stay up to date on all other services. Having my car in the shop every 3,000 miles was a great, possible issues were diagnosed and fixed before they became major problems. Now, due to Same Day’s choice to send me elsewhere for oil changes, it changes what I felt was a difference maker, into a disjointed service experience.

That being said, service work is done in a professional manner, communication is prompt and they can be trusted to do it right the first time.

I got a list of things that needed to be fixed on our Subaru Forester from a local dealership. While the dealership folks are very nice, their prices are quite high. A friend recommended that I get a quote from Same Day Auto. We saved several hundred dollars on the work. We were able to schedule it during a convenient time, and it was completed within a day. The staff are professional, friendly, and instill a sense of confidence from the first moment you walk in. And best of all, the car drives like a dream now. I'd highly recommend this business if you've got car repairs or even routine maintenance to take care of.

I can not say enough good things about Same Day Auto Service. I have taken my vehicle and my wife's vehicle here several times, and I am always happy with their level of service and fair price.

A while back I had them replace the entire power steering system in my truck and at no fault of their own the system failed just over a year later. This was due to a manufacturer defect not by any of the work performed by their technicians. I then took the vehicle in to be re-examined and Same Day Auto Service warrantied their work at no cost to me.

I felt so grateful for their honesty and transparency throughout the process. I will continue to take all of my vehicles here in the future. They are truly a fair and honest shop, and their staff are always upbeat and kind. You will not find a better shop in this area.

I have been a customer of Same Day for quite a few years. I recently moved further away and tried to find a new auto service company closer to me that would be satisfactory. After having very little luck in that regard, I came back to Same Day. They’ve performed many different services on my car and I’ve been a very satisfied customer every time. It’s worth the extra miles to drive to Same Day and know that I’m going to get great service on my car.
