Sapphire at Cedar Crossings has changed significantly in the past few months, with new Resident Care Managers, Administrator, Director of Nursing and many other new staff. Average call light waits are less than 10 minutes and therapy services will help you achieve your goals. We strive to meet the needs and expectations of our residents every day!

This place is a joke.
Had a stroke patient checked in there and they did not provide the right equipment & food or anything for 7 hours. Nurses and staff kept ignoring the patient. Then I called them 5 times no answer. Went there and the door was locked so we kept ringing the bell. Nobody answered and we were walking around the find someone and we found someone in smoking area that opened the door for us.
When we got inside we saw associates playing with their phone during their putting orders.
This place should not exist. Let’s not fool ourselves, people who go there for physical therapy will never get better.

Call lights don't work. Always claim they don't get it. Good luck in getting medicines. No one ever comes to help get to bathroom. When staff do finally come they are nice and helpful. Short staffed and very poorly managed facility. Stay away if you want to rehab.

Staff if so unprofessional and uncaring. Especially the staff at 34 ne 20th.
If you have family there, check on them.

I was placed in Sapphire at Cedar Crossings for physical therapy. Which I got little to no therapy. The call lights were a joke. One night My roommate and I had our call light on for an hour and a half. I went looking for a CNA, found 1, she was asleep in a chair in a patients room. Another time he was sitting in a chair playing a game on his phone, right outside our room. They were short handed and the most the ones they had were lazy and unconcerned about the patients. I was left in the shower room 45 minutes. I have them two stars because they did have a few on their staff that were very good at their job just unfortunately they were spread thin for being short handed. Also the laundry they lost my clothes they never found them they were marked but never returned. There were a couple on the staff that I liked but all in all I have another surgery coming up and I do not want to be placed there again. I hope the people that were good workers find another well managed facility.

Sapphire at cedar crossing is a facility no one should be subjected to. Laundry takes up to three months to get back to you. I went 15 days with out being able to take a shower because of no clean clothes
I put on my call light and If it gets answered with in 2hrs I am Lucky

The food is terrible. If you put in a request for alternative menu you usually don't get it because the kitchen claims they never got it. I have gone without a meal because of it. I am diabetic and my meal slip says sugar free juice and I usually get sugared juice

I am supposed to take medicine with meals and I usually get my medicine 2hrs after meals or two hrs before. I was not getting my insulin on time and my blood sugar was out of control. My doctor got the state involved and they arranged for me to give my own insulin

The management is awful. They don't care about resident care. You complain about a problem to them they tell you they will take care of it and they don't do anything and it gets worse. They lie to the residents all the time. They wanted me to change rooms. So they tell me I need to change rooms because they need to remodel the room. So I moved and two days later they moved someone else into the room

They are changing over $2000 a month and prisoner in the state prison get treated better. It's not worth it for the poor treatment you get. My recommendation is do not come in sapphire cedar crossing
