I’m traveling through and thought this would be a good restaurant to pick up some food from. I was driving so I wanted to place an order over the phone instead of online. I called at 7: 35pm for the first time because I wanted to order well before their closing time (9pm). I stayed on the phone for about 15 minutes waiting for someone to pick up. I just arrived at 7: 50 and there’s a sign on the door that says they won’t be taking orders past 7: 30 because they’re short staffed. I work in the restaurant industry and completely understand, but they could have saved me the trip by just answering and saying that they’re closing the kitchen early tonight. That would have been the considerate thing to do.honestly the front of house staff isn’t even busy; maybe it’s a different situation for BOH, but front of house: answer the phone…Wouldn’t come back or recommend.

Great wholesome food and homemade desserts. A great place for meat eaters and vegan alike. Nice outside seating and very clean bathrooms. 10/2022: Now offering take and bake items for home!

I must say up front Sauce is one of our favorite restaurants in town. Organic, healthy and prepared fresh food. Love it!
I hit a bad night yesterday and waited over one hour for two bowls and a naan. One server was working hard for her customers and the other two had a vacant stare and didn’t seem to grasp what was going on…. People waiting a very long time to get their takeout or to find a clean table and get served. Normally a 5 star rating but they were off their game tonight. Maybe the manager took the night off.
Don’t let this review stop you from trying the restaurant but if it happens again I’ll be taking a break for a while!

Finally decided i can't waste any more money here. Rosas chicken soup doesn't have chicken, especially if you get it from the case, so you're paying a high price for too salty carrots, potatoes, and cabbage.they can't cook rice.it's frequently hard and undercooked, burnt, or mushy.the waitress said "yeah, rice is tricky" Totally unacceptable for a restaurant, get a rick cooker.she wouldn't take if off the bill because i was "eating it" (i had a bite). A friend picked up our to go order once and they had put in a completely different dessert that what we had ordered. We called adn they said they had run out of the one we ordered, which probably means they sold the one we ordered after we ordered it to someone who was in the restaurant. So they put in something we didn't order, without telling us, and then didn't refund the money. Nobody wanted the replacement. That's essentially stealing. Sauce, you used to be so good. Stop hiring smarmy 20 yr olds and bring in come chefs who know how to cook with consistency.

I want to give them more stars because the food is great, but the service is absolutely horrible. Every time I order food to be picked up, it ends up taking 15-20 minutes longer than their estimate and I sit around waiting, every.single.time.

I’ve been going to this place since it opened. The food is often really good but it is amazing how, year after year, they hire kids who are so not into working there. I always feel like I am deeply disturbing them by asking them to wait on me. As so many other commenters have observed the same thing, it’s amazing to me that the manager doesn’t take this problem more seriously.

Very rude people except one nice person that wasn't there on Sunday they waited to say they were closed after I was in there trying to figure what to get, it seems they enjoy being rude

The food is always delicious! Very health and tons of flavor! I always love a mug of chai tea!

Really great food. They could benefit from sauces giving more taste, but already there is quite a variety to choose. My favorite garlic tofu.
