Savier Street Flats, Portland OR

Most of my year here was fine, but during the recent fires they disregarded my request to leave my windows closed while they were removing screens to have the windows cleaned. I specifically told them that my asthma was very exacerbated from the poor air quality and they opened the windows anyway and left the dirty/smoky screens in my living room. All I got for a response after notifying the corporate office were excuses. Bottom line is that I notified them of my health emergency, they disregarded it and exposed me to poor air quality inside my own apartment. Poor judgement endangers tenants.

I moved into this property when it was still managed by greystar and thought it was much better before. Avenue 5 hiked up my rent $140/month each year I renewed. The "renovations" they did to the lobby did not benefit renters and just resulted in them increasing rent. Additionally I had 2 packages not get "received" by the building which I can only assume means someone took them as fed-ex said they were both delivered. I lived in 2 different units and my deposit was not refunded either time. Each time they found random things to bill me for that ultimately totaled the rent negotiations I made on the unit. The building is well located but don't expect management to be on your side. Do a walk through on move out if you want you're deposit back.

My husband and I lived at Savier Flats since fall of 2014. We've seen it through three management companies and a facelift. Overall the building is solidly built (unlike some of these newer ones coming up in the Slabtown neighborhood). The management company is fairly attentive though overall communication could be improved.

The moveout process was very smooth, more easy than some other apartment moveouts I've experienced, and the onsite staff accommodated our needs to help us as we transitioned from renters to home owners. Definitely recommend living here, good value for the price and the location is A+.

A few days ago, I tried calling them to ask about their studio pricing and specials that is on their website, when one of the staff picked up and I asked my question they said it's already been sold out and that's there's no deals. How is it already sold out when it just got posted.strange.

You get what you pay for. The staff is non responsive, I've lived with a neighbor blasting rap music constantly and have complained numerous times and nothing has changed. I'm super disappointed with my experience here and with so many other apartments being built in the Northwest.chose another place.

After living in 12+ different apartments in 12 years, Savier has been the best overall. The staff is AMAZING (office and maintenance) and the location is great. Highly recommend living here.

This is a lovely place to live. The management is friendly and helpful. I had a problem with our washing machine and Jordan the Maintenance Supervisor was quick and efficient at fixing our problem. My machine went out last night and he was here before noon fixing the problem.

I have Ben hear for over a year and love this place excellent staff fun activities and very friendly atmosphere
