Wish I could put zero stars. Ricardo our sales man was great, wasn’t pressuring us and was very helpful letting us look around at multiple cars. We came back to look with a second opinion and that did not make the owner happy. Went to do good old fashioned negotiation and were laughed at, owner started walking away before the conversation was even done lol. Wouldn’t give a dime of our money to this place, funny enough we would have gone much higher but weren’t given the opportunity.

I was honestly hesitant to go to a small car lot as I have always shopped at the larger dealerships however I highly recommend giving Schroeder auto a try. I promise you won’t be disappointed. The entire team I worked with was wonderful and patient. Romero was not your typical pushy salesperson. He listened to what our needs were and talked to us as if I were a friend not a sales transaction. If I had questions of any kind, Romero and his sales manager Ken had the answers or knew where to get them quickly. I feel their communication as a team was awesome as well. I wish all car transactions were this smooth. In todays world where it seems impossible to get good customer service anymore, they nailed it and I certainly will return my business there as needed. Thank you for everything, Romero, Ken and Brian!

Would not recommend this place to anyone. The sales rep (I think Ricardo) was great, the owner was something else though. We came to look at a vehicle in the morning and let them know what our budget was up front so we weren’t wasting there time, and then let them know we would come back and negotiate and talk final numbers later that afternoon. When we came back we brought a second opinion to look at it which clearly did not make the owner happy. The owner asked for our best price, we gave him a number (Start low meet in the middle) expecting that he would negotiate with us on the price and he laughed at us and was super rude before he started to walk back into his office, he was half way back to his office before we even got a second sentence in and wouldn’t even entertain working with our offer, we understand they have to make money, but the sad thing is, we would have went much higher than our starting offer, and potentially were interested in some other vehicles of his if the first one didn’t work out, but after seeing his attitude towards us it was clear this was not the kind of person we would want to work with.

Worst auto sale to get a car, If you don’t want it to break it down on you and don’t want to get a scam, don’t even go into this lot. Everything they say is a lie, till you get the car and drive off. I assume they get the cars and reset the brain so it won’t show you any problems until you drive a bit miles on it. If anybody would be a scam artist, these 2 people will.

Literally the worst people I’ve ever met in my life. Ken and his lackey (can’t remember his name but he had the most obnoxious voice ever) deceived and flat out lied to my wife and I then stole our money. They told us we had a warranty but when we went to return it he told me he was taking the car back and keeping our money as well. When I said “I dont think it works like that”, he responded “I’ve been doing this for a long time, and it definitely does work like that. ” This man is old enough to be my grandmother, and we were in such a vulnerable position, desperate for a fair running vehicle. We gave them every last dollar we had including our previous car (which he refused to return). I’ve never felt so violated and hopeless in my entire life. I wish I would have done my research and read their reviews first because then it would have been obvious that they have indeed been ripping off the entire community for more than 10 years. So disappointed, and now I have to spend more money on an attorney to go after these guys. So please just save your money and go to a reputable dealer. These two crooks will surely rip you off without any sort of remorse. Bad people, even worse vehicles. Ken, you should be ashamed of yourself, and I’ll be seeing you soon.

They wipe codes and sell vehicles with blown motors then try to force you to fix it so they can take it back to resale. They also run there business like a mob telling you if you don't do what they tell you to do your on your own. Watch out for Ken he's the worst, also the owner claims to be so good at this he has the best attorney to screw over anyone. If they tell you they did something to the vehicle to make it run after you sign the contract DO NOT take the vehicle off the lot leave it call a attorney right away. Learn from my mistakes

Wish I would of of read the reviews before I Bought the car. Have had it two weeks & leaking coolant. Air bag on need new radiator lots of other stuff that my mechanic diagnosed. Call these people they act stupid they will not even fix it & apparently there so called mechanic saids he looked it over & fine. Not having the car that long you would think they would fix it if they were a good honest business but no there crooks that sell u cars. Stay away from them.

TLDR: Be wary about this establishment. Read the reviews and they will speak for themselves. We wish we had read some of the reviews before stopping by. The reviews are truthful and the fact that they slander their customers or potential customers as a reply instead of being more professional speaks volumes.

We had stopped by, twice actually, for a car that we were interested in and was greeted politely at first. They were hesitant to let us test drive the first time stating that test drives were only for people who are almost guaranteed to purchase the vehicle immediately after, so we decided to take a day to think about the purchase. It can be understandable to prevent people from just going for joy rides. This however, is still concerning, because as other reviews have said, they have had engine lights as well as engine failure occur shortly after purchasing. As a person that has worked in dealerships and has years of experience working on cars, check engine lights can be reset and some don’t come back on until after being driven a certain amount of miles as specified by the vehicles computer. At the second visit, after some convincing, we were able to test drive the car. We were looking at buying the car and upon giving a CASH offer at a fair Kelly Blue book value, instead of trying to negotiate (which we were willing to do as we had a flexible budget), we were scoffed or laughed at. He also exclaimed how Kelly blue book was just an estimation, which is true but is put in place for a reason. It is worth mentioning they were asking well over the value for a vehicle that didn't even meet the "Good condition" tab on blue book. Not only was I scoffed at I was treated like a delinquent who had no knowledge about cars. He then mocked, “How long have you been in the car business”? To which I say I have a degree in automotive technology. Mind you, there were quite a few things that would warrant a much lower price tag. This includes but is not limited to mechanical issues, previous accidents, the ecu was messed with (factory ecu was sitting in trunk) and factory wiring was tarnished, as well as cosmetic issues. We understood that it is a used car and we were willing to put work into it. However, I was unable to mention anything about those issues because I was cut off with, “you're just giving me attitude”. You should also know that this particular salesman started back pedaling on some alleged facts he had said and was caught being untruthful. That when brought to his attention he got extremely defensive and insisted that we leave. This gentleman was not even willing to talk about the car in a civilized manor. Bullet Dodged! My advice to potential car buyers is to do some research and have knowledge about the cars and establishments you are interested in to avoid situations such as described above.

To the salesperson that replies to the reviews: I have read your replies to other reviews, and I conclude this by saying, “I wish you a better future”, as you have said to others.

This place is the worst they don’t know how to fill out paperwork to save their life. I bought a car three months ago from them and haven’t received my registration in the mail still. Also did I mention they sold me a car with a check engine light on. Told me they would fix it and sell me the car. Right after I took the car off the lot the check engine light came back on. Not to mention the over priced vehicles look at Kelly blue book before buying from this place.
