Schwietert's Cones & Candy reviews
15They have 94 flavors of delicious salt water taffy and delicious hand dipped ice cream! There is definitely a candy here for everyone!
Good customer service, wide variety of candies a goodies, wide variety of Tillamook ice cream flavors. If you have a sweet tooth, I would definitely recommend visiting.
Website is not up to date. Hours are open until 7: 00 Friday and Saturday and only open until 6: 00 the rest of the week. We like this place but we're very disappointed to come after they closed thinking the website was accurate. Thanks for updating your website
No price tags? Seriously? That's a bad business practice you should reconsider. Kids cannot plan their budget.
When your in Cannon Beach, you have to stop at Schwietert's Cones & Candies.
Check out all the candies from the 70's, and the huge selection of Salt Water Taffy.
The girl behind the counter couldn't be bothered to say hello or greet anyone. Just stood there with her mouth full chewing something. Very unprofessional when there are customers in the store.
It was exactally what I thought it would be for a coastal Gift Shop/Candy/Ice cream shop.
The ice cream was good and had the perfect consistency/freeze for walking around. And, the chocolate seafoam was light, crunchy, and yummy.
But the best part was the helpful, friendly, accommodating, and inviting staff. They were so nice to my differnt-abled brother, that they ended up inspiring me to purchase more items than just the ice-cream we originally went in there for.
We will definitely return, as I drive up the coast at least once a month to take my brother out on outings.
I have celiac, and had to ask for specific accommodations to eat food safely and to avoid cross contamination of gluten.
The woman who helped me was amazing. She was happy to follow my needed precautions and when I was thanking her and apologizing for the difficulty, she said, “everyone deserves to eat ice cream safely. ”
I wish I got her name. The world needs more servers like her!
Visited the Cannon Beach store for the first time. Got a variety of fudge to share with friends (6 pieces). Wow, best fudge i have ever had, especially the dark. Will visit again for sure when near a store.
Cute little ice cream shop that made the entire downtown area smell like freshly made waffle cones (which were amazing).
I asked my great-nephew what flavor of ice cream he would recommend. Marion Berry Pie ice cream!
I had a scoop in a delicious waffle cone.
The ice cream was delicious
When I was there a week ago on Sunday the line moved fast. Friendly atmosphere. The employees were efficient. I saw some negative reviews from former customers. All I can say is, remember when you were a young kid at your first job. Have some patience.
I will go back.
Insane selection of candy, taffy, jelly beans, fudge, gourmet chocolate and ice cream. Soooo many flavors and choices. Reasonable prices.
The wait goes pretty quickly and it is worth the wait. They have a great front porch for sitting and enjoying your ice cream or other treats. Taffy, lots of other candies, fudge made on site. Lots of ice cream choices.
Me and my family always have such a wonderful time in this store everytime we visit cannon beach.
I love the HUGE selection of candy and fudge.
And everytime i visit this store i always walk out with ice cream <3
Truely a sweet place to go:)
Truffles are so delicious $3.50 each or buy five get one free. Small youth ice cream $3.50 each- one flavor. Single scoop can have two flavors for $4.75. They have Tillamook ice cream and another brand of ice cream. Waffle cones are made in house. They had a line out the door and handled the line good. We splurged and spent over $40 on one box of truffles, one box of chocolates, two smallest ice creams and one single scoop in a waffle cone ($1.00 more for waffle cone). Huge selection! Nice shop!
