Sea Lion Docks reviews
12Maybe this is typically better, but the sea lions were so far away we could hardly see them without binoculars. Also the dock is not fenced in so the chances of a kid falling in are high without vigilance.
The dock isn't there anymore. You can still enjoy the little town, boat dock area and even see some sea lions over on the nearby rocks, but this are is gone.
Sadly floating docks are gone and thus can't see or hear or smell Sea Lions close up. There were some on rock groin in harbour, but further away and sound, no smell.
Every time we come to the coast this is a must see spot. I get such a chuckle watching the sea lions.
I love it here! The sea lions are beautiful. I enjoy watching them and listening to them. It's soothing for me, I could spend hours here.
Great place to see the sea lions. Really easy to just stand at the doc and watch them swim and wrestling for a spot to sleep. Worth the stop
There were no sea lions out when we were there. We saw a couple of sea lion heads out in the water.
If you are in Newport, definitely stop by and check it out
Street and public parking available everywhere for free
SUCH a fun experience! Neat little pier where you can snap pictures with the bridge, the sea lions and the sea gulls!
Cool experience for my 6 year old. Dock was kinda busy but I think that's a good thing. That means business is good.
Fun place to hang out while you wait for your spot at Mo's. The sealions are rather rowdy and noisy, and they do need to brush their teeth but if that's what you're worried about I'm not sure what you're expecting. It's a pretty amazing little spot to be, with all those sealions crammed into one spot (though if your look out to the water you'll see there are more chilling on the pile of rocks).
