Señor Taco reviews
1514 years of ordering from this wonderful neighborhood restaurant and we couldn't ask for a better local spot for excellent Mexican fare, friendly service and a tasty varied menu.
Hey Chris,
Just a quick note to let you know that I was food-poisoned on Saturday, October 22nd at ~12: 00pm from a Chile Relleno Burrito.
I will remove this review if you reply to it acknowledging you saw it. Please double check your kitchen so that it doesn't happen to anyone else. It was awful. The worst I've had in years.
Hard shell tacos are perfectly crispy with great flavor. The burritos are so good and filling. The nachos are great!
This little hole in the wall is some straight up good tasting food that's quick and at a decent price. Red sauce hot, green sauce tomato sauce
I have been going here for almost ten years. When I moved out of Portland, whenever I'm in town I still come back. This place makes amazing tacos and burritos, at fair prices. I have nothing bad to say about it, except that for the rest of my life whenever I get a taco I'll be saying "man, I wish this was Senor Taco. "
The food is amazing here! The only reason I gave 4/5 is because the hours they are open are inconsistent with what’s posted online and at their store. Sometimes they’re just not open, or they’ll just close early. Several times I’ve gone during operating hours only to find they’re not open. But the food is worth the trip when they are open!
Really great food at low prices. A few tables but pretty much takeout. I have never received anything that I didn’t like.
I have been a big fan of this specific location for years. Despite moving 20 min plus away we would go to senior taco at least twice a week. While the food is great the accuracy to orders are 75%. In the last two weeks we have been four times and each time our order wrong. We don’t want to waste food nor gas. I understand mistakes happen. I just wish after so many times they would make things right rather than tell my partner they don’t know what to tell us cause it’s really simple and they will talk to the cooks. Food when accurate 5, customer service is the 2.
Twice now our order has been wrong. Both times we called we very clearly asked for no cheese on or in the burrito. The first time my husband took the order back in and the guy working the register argued with him and told him that's not what he said on the phone (it definitely is - I heard the call). This time I called and said probably four times I didn't want cheese or sour cream. The food is covered in cheese and he didn't take it back in because he didn't want the same dude to argue with him again. I can't eat cheese so I spent over $10 on a burrito I have to toss. Definitely won't be back.
My first time back in a month and for whatever reason it seems like some serious changes have been made (maybe to just the Lake O location) fingers crossed it’s still the same menus in West Linn. Señor Taco’s “Al pastor Burrito” was by far the best burrito I have ever had anywhere. For some reason whoever thought adding Pineapple to the al pastor and the new marinade, it is seriously a detriment to what was such an amazing ingredient. And the new Salsa Verde (new avocado salsa Of sorts) looks like a green sauce straight from Chernobyl. Very dissatisfied with whoever changed this previous holy grail up…sorry but this totally turned me off from raving about señor taco to everyone that visited me from out of town. Now it’s just a basic California style taco spot…
Kill the Pineapple.
Great flavors and incredibly fast service. I enjoy this place at least once a week. Great for a classic burrito or some yummy tacos. Nothing fancy just great street style Mexican food. Try the green sauce!
The salsa is pretty good and the service is fast, but the tables are super wobbly and the emphasis is on size over quality. The crowd can also be interesting, with a number of dudes wearing masks as chin straps and one guy smoking at one of the the outdoor tables.
First time visit since the local Senor Taco restaurant near us closed at 5pm on a Saturday. The food was just as good as our local place. Fast too.
The American Guy has a really bad actitud and bad service. I don't recommend.we pay for food and bad service. Normally the American people has a really good actitud and service
