This was a really fun experience! Natasha was absolutely the best tour guide we could have had. Even though the large group we were with weren’t the most engaging (at all), she kept the energy high and had great stories.

A solid experience I doubted somewhat going in. The tour guide does a good job about clarifying why the tunnels are named what they are and why some area may or may not be haunted. If you have back issues I’d suggest not going on this tour. As a shorter person I’m not used to having to duck but there are a number of area where you are more likely to be slouching over than not. Cool experience though, but maybe a little more expensive than it should be.

Very great tour guide! Super fun and spooky with amazing Information on Porlands early years. Includes ghost stories, information about architecture, etc.

Very interesting tour and you can definitely feel different underneath. Learning about the city’s history and what went on here makes you feel like you’re reliving it. Definitely recommend it.

My group arrived at the designated meeting spot (Starbucks, Pioneer Square) and the organizer was no where to be found. We found his contact info and he stated that Eventbrite did not notify him of a tour and he wasn't going to show up. We did not get a tour nor a refund. Eventbrite is no help, this is essentially a scam.

While Michael Jones was alive it was a great tour. However its now permanently closed, the building is up for sale and the widow has abandoned all projects related. Damn shame.

I would give a higher rate but the homeless tents and garbage have completely taken over the area. Very very sad to see this history part of town being destroyed.

Informative, but our tour guide hated Portland, and he kept telling us how much he did. You go underground for 60 seconds max. The tour is priced way too high for what it promises.

We went on Halloween last year. It was awesome! We had originally planned on going over the summer but my friend broke his foot. This tour is not crutches friendly. But they allowed us to reschedule. They were very nice about it.

Great bit of history, still remember when we had to crawl through the place. Helped volunteer to make this place happen yrs ago expanding it to what it is now. Had even taken part during the filming of the "Ghost Adventures" episode done there. Great little, tour volunteers are good folks. The non-profit organizers put many yrs of hard work, love and dedication into researching and restoring this part of Portland lost history and the original human trafficking that happened in the past. Also get to learn other bits of Portland and Oregon's lost or forgotten history.

Quite frankly, this is the worst tourist attraction I’ve ever experienced. As visitors to Portland on numerous occasions, looking for something new to see in Portland, my wife and I decided to give this a go and it was such a waste of money. So much so, still angered by what a rip-off it was, I find myself leaving this review long after our visit. I’d describe the experience as laughable if it wasn’t for the fact I felt robbed by it; both in terms of a loss on money, but also being robbed of the opportunity to do something far better, like, I dunno, literally anything.

Worst tour ever! You get to check out the crawl space under a few old buildings. No tunnels, not even a basement really. A brief history of Portland's shady past, a few cheesy ghost stories and some old junk left in crawl space. I just saved you some coin.

Very enjoyable if you know what you’re paying for, a dark history lesson in a dark place and a reminder of what can happen today above ground.

The guide was informative and interactive, she kept the group engaged. Had a couple lights turn off that she couldn’t explain. My wife and I paid more attention to what we were standing on when we went above ground too!

Interesting history you don't get from other area tours. They also aim to raise awareness to the ongoing struggle with human trafficking.

I took this tour yesterday. They walk you around in a dark basement, telling you ghost stories. There are very few things of interest to look at- the other reviews that include photos show what there is. At one point, the guide had us all huddled around a photo (of a bassinet that they once had, but has since been stolen) telling a ghost story about a women that needs help with her baby. There was some information on how shanghaiing was performed. That part was interesting. Unfortunately, it made up less than a third of the tour. The guide mostly talked about 1: the owner and how/why this business was created, 2: ghost stories, followed by 3: actual Shanghai/tunnel information. I was not impressed.
