Shari's Cafe and Pies, Clackamas OR

Wow, the service here was nonexistent! When I arrived there was an older woman waiting at the cash register. She said she had been waiti.g for 10 minutes. Finally a waitress yelled from across the room where she was sitting to seat ourselves. I sat myself. She dropped off the menu was very curt. I waited for 10 minutes for her to come back. The whole time she was standing on the other side of the room. I got up and left!

Came in at 9am and the door is locked.

I guess they're not paying enough to keep employees here.

Walk in for lunch, sat for 12 minutes, not one employee even acknowledged nor offered menu, horrible, worse Shari's ever visited

Came here this morning to play lottery machines and have breakfast. I asked the blonde haired waitress for a menu. 40 minutes later I cashed my lottery ticket with her and she says "you gonna order? "
I said "I was 30 min ago"
Her: "I don't go back there"
Me "why? "
"Cause they can come up here and order"

Wow! I told her I made $200 and I definitely would have tipped her well if she treated me like a customer.

Not all lottery machine players are angry tweakers. We are customers like everyone else! And.if we win we tip goooood lol

Showed up 2hr45min before closing soon as I walked in the lady told me they were closed I looked in the back the cool was still cooking if you are a trucker come in here bobtail they will refuse to give you service I was going to give the waitress $100 tip this place is a joke honestly if I was the color W she would have never said that they were closed to bad humans like me don’t get the Privilege oh well may the most high be with her

Walked in an immediately met with a employee with a horrible attitude. Only thing she could say was you better be ready to wait awhile. We are short staffed. All I could see was 2 people in the whole restaurants. An there uniforms didn't fit them one had almost whole belly hanging out. We sat for maybe 5 minutes an just had a horrible vibe. This location needs to be shut down or to start paying more so they can have workers. Horrible experience.

If I could rate the entire chain I would, but this is best I can do. Good luck trying to get food at Shari's anymore. Roughly 4 out of the past 5 times I have tried to go to a Shari's within the past year they have been closed durring posted open hours, morning or night. They have good food and the majority of the time they have reliably good service too. However, there is no point in trying to come here any more if it is closed the majority of the time. Litterally any sign about what is going on and I would not have an issue as worker shortages are a thing for restaurants nowadays. But they never even have that. If you can find one that is reliably open though, highly recommend.

Overall the food was good but the front staff kept disappearing in the back, possibly by the video poker machines. Only the cook was in the kitchen. Poor customer service due to lack of business?

The worst customer service and food I've had in years. Will never dine there again. The order was wrong and very poor quality

20 minutes after “opening” and not a single person inside working or opening the place up.

This was a good diner experience. The restaurant was clean, with several tables dining. We were greeted right away and seated immediately. The waitress was friendly and competent. The food was well cooked and tasty.
Typical of the current restaurant situation I see everywhere these days, there was a single server and a single cook. It did take a while to receive our food. If you are ok with that, you will be happy. Also, they are open until midnight, and this is a Saturday night.

Door says open 0700 on Sunday. Door was locked. Tried to call. No one picked up, saw someone in the kitchen. First negative experience with any Shari's. Something wrong?

They use to be open 24/7, now after covid they changed it to 7am for opening, now it's almost 730 and no one is even here not even an employee

Went l8 night after work. Solo wait person so there was a wee wait but she was friendly and took our order even though it was not conventional

Was kinda frustrated son wanted breakfast from Shari, but was being told no chef available until 11, so we decided to go Elmer's
